Edited by EverybodyDannsNow (25 Jun 2021 3.04pm) Why the salt? Also it's a bit trite to be making these comparisons after two weeks isn't it? For two weeks those are good figures. Also Neil has stated he'll be back before the end of the summer. Also it seems that stats differ: Edited by Stirlingsays (25 Jun 2021 3.21pm)

Andrew Neil has been quoting viewing figures since night one so only fair to look at how they've held up, which is not well at all - there's a fairly obvious difference between the numbers you've posted, which is even referenced in the article.

Edited by EverybodyDannsNow (25 Jun 2021 3.04pm) Assuming these numbers are accurate it just makes my point there is not much of an audience for news these days from any channel. The BBC top show only managed 3.6m. C4 news isn't included I'd like to know what their numbers are. I Think GB news will fail because of the lack of a market. Edited by Badger11 (25 Jun 2021 3.46pm)

If the market's there it'll be fine, if not it won't. Time will tell. As for stats.....I will admit that I'm never that certain of any stat nowadays....as the old saying goes, 'lies, damn lies and statistics'. I guess, you have to trust the names behind them and how ethical they are and 99/100 we never know who put them together and what tricks they did or didn't play. I suspect AN has gone on holiday after a hectic few months setting up GB News. He interviewed the Extinction Rebellion guy so he is giving all views a chance to discuss
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Forget pathetic tory GB News. 'Classified Ministry of Defence documents found at bus stop'. Your local bus stop has far more informed and up-to-date information. In this case revealing that the UK knew exactly what would happen with Russia in the Crimea. No wonder some MOD official dumped it.

I started offf watching it for the first week haven’t watched it since it’s equally as boring as bbc news and sky news and the sound is terrible the programme that comes on in the evening with the ex GMTV showbiz presenter being particularly s*** he should have stuck too talking about girls aloud and the spice girls

Edited by Stirlingsays (27 Jun 2021 1.41am) I did find this amusing ‘ the latest figures showed a significant slump, with only a maximum of 32,000 tuning in on Thursday. Chairman Andrew Neil’s own flagship show only attracted 31,000. It means that the channel has slumped below viewing figures for Welsh language S4C shows such as Pobol y Cwm, which attracts 44,000 viewers according to the latest S4C stats. Welsh language Paw Patrol, Patrol Pawennau, pulled in over five times as many viewers at 161,000. BBC News at Ten on Thursday meanwhile pulled in 3.6 million viewers.’ Thing is, does that also include streaming views? Would think this sort of niche would do well on digital only platforms.
Did you know? 98.0000001% of people are morons. |
