France responds.

My favourite quote. In fact, an early contender for quote of the year...

French boat skipper Jean-Claude La Vaullée, said: “I’ve refuelled the boat – we’re ready to restage the Battle of Trafalgar.”

He realised they lost, right?

LOL. I suspect this is why he is fishing rather than teaching history. Been chuckling ever since reading it.

Then we should oblige him.

It's very good. Filthy b******s. There is also a Danish political drama called 'Borgen' that is worth a watch althought it tends more towards 'The West Wing' than 'House of Cards' so can be a little tepid at times.

But the best Euro political thriller I have ever watched is a Norwegian show called 'Occupied'. A bit of an alternative history slant to it but absolutely superb. Had me hooked from the off.

loving the utter cluelessness, keep it up, give me a laugh over a coffee. So now I'm someone know as PP and Jewish? I think a few of you need to finally make a trip away from Croydon for once in your lives, there's a lot to see beyond even Purley.

Most on here are scared of Croydon and would never fit in with modern south London They live in places like Surrey, Sussex and posh bits of Kent.

Why would anyone be scared? Surely with the Mayor’s iron grip on crime London must be the safest place in the world.

Oh dear election results making you tetchy?. Not scared at all, spent over 30 years there. Moved to Sussex to raise my kids, who I didn’t want going to school in Croydon. Anything wrong with that?
Didn’t Starmers parents move them from Southwark to Oxted? Perhaps they were scared as well?

Interesting self identification. What on Earth were you doing up at that hour?
