What is going to change after the Burnley debacle?

No idea myself but if nothing changes, how can anyone think we'll get a point let alone a win?

Last couple of times we've played them they were clearly better than us.

Anything can happen if football but I really cannot see anything in it for us unless we get really lucky again.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

An encouraging stat: Brighton have won one of their last 17 home league games.
Against that, we are Championship level without Wilf so I’m fearing a 1-0 defeat.
My team (433): Guaita; Clyne, Kouyate, Kelly, Mitchell; Luka, Jimmy, Jairo; Eze, Benteke, Ayew.

Please NO Benteke (or Batman) to start the game.
Put 5 in midfield, sharpen up big time the first ten minutes and leave 4-4-2 in Beckenham.
If we are in the same shape as we were against Villa, Leeds and Burnley they will roll all over us.
Game live 3 AM Thai TV - this time I will not get up to watch. Do not want this embarrassment straight in the face.

I have bet on Palace win and win/draw.

We are not at home to Mr Cockup

Although I am a long way from being confident going into tonight's game, it is worth highlighting that despite a 6-game unbeaten run, Brighton only scored 4 goals during this period. Of course Burnley weren't high scorers until they played us, plus it highlights how good their defence has been, but come on, we have to look for some light!

We go behind early, show no real urgency to get back into the game, have few attempts to speak of, lose 2-0 and Roy says it's fine because, of the 3 games we did win in our last 15, 2 of them happened to be in the same week and everyone (though I can't remember who) was apparently saying the players were really good after those games so it's a bit weird the fans are now annoyed.

That's my expectation, and it's a long way below the standard, so I do hope it's better than that.

No Zaha, can't see us scoring. We are embarrassingly toothless without him. Will bite your hand off for a 0-0.

Sadly I think we'll lose 2-0.

I'd like Big Ben start and I'd like to see us actually put some crosses in for a change. Can't see us creating chances any other way. Benteke's heading is about the only good thing our strikers can do so we might as well play to our only strength.

It will be interesting to see if we can even get through the first ten minutes without conceding.

Recently teams have been quick out of the blocks against us because they have identified that, for whatever reason, we just don’t start well, be that a lack of confidence, poor motivation, a mistake with team selection or tactics, a combination of them all or some other reason altogether.

I think tonight’s performance is going to tell us more about where we are, tactically, mentally and just in general terms, than any other game of the season thus far.....Our arch rivals away, the team struggling for any form, a manager under increasing pressure, a full nine days of rest, training and preparation since our last game, the banner placed outside the training ground and the potential to be dragged right into the relegation mix if we don’t avoid defeat. Tonight’s performance is going to be fascinating.
