It's noteworthy that a white teenager trafficked by a notorious white pedo is posited to be some kind of sexually crazed tart. Night and day compared to the grooming thread here. It's as if those in this horrendous case can't be further used to push a specific demographic dislike and so are viewed in a more off hand or nonplussed light. That is not to say by the way that there aren't specific issues in said cultures. All should be pursued without fear or favour, but like these crimes in many or most contexts they often are not.

Whatever people think of this girl (opportunist or whatever) the wider context is that Epstein and Maxwell were luring in young children to be coerced into sex with adult men and she was caught up in that. When we diminish her, it's important to realise that to an extent we do the same with those victims too.

Whether it's culturally or religiously based, high society exploitation, or childrens homes, the overriding factor in all of these instances is that it almost always goes on for an unbelievable amount of time before anyone is held to account. Sometimes that's due to powerful institutions hushing it up, or wildly misplaced cultural sensitivities, others a culture of silence. Certainly also a level of mental disconnect too with decent people just not wanting to accept that it takes place so mentally reframing it as something else or attributing a level of blame to the victims.

And remember the Shirley Oaks victims are getting money. So they were all tarts?

Personally, I'm not willing to openly judge either party in this without all of the evidence. Not that it is going to matter in the US courts, frankly. The full evidence will probably never come out but expect some sensationalist books over the next few years.
