Whoever he is he shouldn’t be revealing what’s going on in the dressing room.

The best team won. We just aren't good enough. That's why they're where they are in the league and we're where we are.

We're totally clueless going forward. We pride ourselves in our wingers and our wide midfielders and yet how many times do they get to the byline and put decent crosses in. They'd rather cut inside and try and play silly little passes in the box which come to nothing. It must be so frustrating for any center forward who plays.

100% agree Kev. No service equals not much chance of scoring. We have two of the fastest full backs in the league on show today and we played with 5 midfielders and yet we could not overlap and get the ball into the middle. Utter s***e today and don’t see how we can improve until we change some of our tactics.

And that my friend (and I like to think we are all friends because we are Palace supporters), is why Roy should step down at seasons end. If he had the ability to adapt I would back him to the hilt but he clearly doesn’t.

Agree mate.

I don’t know about you but I have a far bigger grudge against Watford than I have ever had against Brighton. We have had some truly memorable victories against Watford in the league and cup as we have had losses but they are a dirty cynical bunch and whilst I suppose a decent footballing team have very, very little (if any) class.

For you Watford trolls reading this you will probably delight in being so dismissed. Which sums you up really!

Always remembering walking from the Holmesdale to the Whitehorse end at half time!

I should have guessed that Wilf would miss this one with the international break coming up.

Half of me is pleased we are out because we have PL business to take care of but losing three times to Watford in one season is not bad luck, it is an indication of how much we have stayed still while others have improved.
Our squad is too thin and although you can't expect a team like Palace to have world class players on the bench, we really need to improve on Kelly who is almost a guaranteed defeat and Benteke who really does nothing anymore. Sako? Probably injured as he always is.
Had we actually spent money in the last two windows, we might have secured another centre half which was badly needed and another proper winger to replace Wilf when unavailable.
Bottom line is that the club better find a way to move forward financially because selling Wilf or Wan will see us in the Championship and at our current rate of standing still, even if they stay.

We will not circle the drain much longer without falling down it.

That's a bit unfair to Kelly, he is 4th choice CB, who has been very good for us when asked to play. Knowing your a squad player and not first choice cant be easy, but he gets on with it.
Sako cup tied as mentioned loads of times, keep up.

If the gameplan was for Bats to fashion everything by himself up front whilst the midfield ran down blind alleys, dinked it around, getting in each others way, cutting in relentlessly then it worked perfectly. There seems to be absolutely no cohesion between the midfield and attack. Best described in musical parlance as a free form jazz band and certainly no symphony.

You know I’m actually beginning to hate t***ford more than I do the seaweeds. But on another note, I think the club is in serious danger of going through another crisis and relegation. There is something going on behind the scenes with the club being put up for sale and the loss of confidence in Roy. I really hope not but dark clouds are gathering again.

Not sure I totally agree that it is a loss in confidence with Roy although that could be in play. One other factor is our transfers over a number of seasons. Luka has contributed well and been a good buy, Cabaye and Tomo were good business with noticed contributions but others have largely failed to impress recently or slid backwards alarmingly.

Really disappointed with the result. Having. managed to wrestle the momentum away from Watford and got the equaliser we needed to push on but once again our tactics were not up to it. Benteke should have come on at 1-1, and we should have given it a go ( it was a Cup game after all ). We need to manage games better than we have in the last couple of weeks. Today’s result now put an enormous amount of pressure on the Huddersfield game.

It's weird to go from on a high to crashing lows. It's the nature of the beast though. We just need to refocus and ensure that we don't manage to somehow f*** up league games. Last week's results didn't exactly go our way. Could do with Leicester putting another past Burnley today. The red didn't help.
