Gotta be fined a weeks wages for that rubbish effort today. The most important match of the season for us and they didn’t turn up. Hit them where it hurts in the pockets and if they want to leave - let them. Now going to watch the English rugby team who have pride when they put on their shirts. Ours might as well wipe their arses on theirs for how much it means to them.

Scummies have done to us today what we did to Leicester and Burnley in previous weeks , they’ve took their chances and that’s that , I do fear for the game against Huddersfield as I can see the same outcome as today unfortunately

Game had gone in the first 20 mins due to our supposed need to play 3 defensive midfielders. Last season we absolutely battered them with RLC and Cabaye. really wanted us to let the shackles off today at home and give the fans something to cheer and Hughton something to think about but no, the same old non working personnel. The Weed done the double and now on same number of points as us and unlikely to take the plunge this season. Would love another go at these lot at Wembley in the Cup but we are more outsiders to get there than them. Edited by Booted Eagle (09 Mar 2019 2.32pm)

I honestly don't know why most of you bother watching Palace why don't you go to Stamford Bridge instead. It's just non stop moaning and negativity on here and that's before we are losing.

Why keep playing Schlupp at the start in this sort of free role when we have far better players and then Bat is not setting the world on fire so he doesnt deserve to be starting either. same old narrow football every week this doesnt work against teams of our level it's more suited ofr defending and then breaking you cant do that at home or smaller/same level teams the final thing the subs are awful how can he not see what we see the games not going our way losing control so you bring others on yet he will only do change when forced to or wants them to get only 5min run out Were you watching the game. You prefer Benteke or Ayew to Bats, on your own there I think.

We were painfully slow at moving the ball today. Only McArthur from the midfield actually moved forward with any real intention or snapped at players' heels, but his passing was loose, as was Luka's (whose set-pieces were poor again). As for Brighton, it was an almost carbon copy performance of at the Amex. You could complain that they were dirty, but this is a derby and if you're going to be aggressive this is the game. It wasn't until the 88th minute that we finally clobbered one of their players. Very frustrating today watching endless backwards and sideways passing and as sh*t as Brighton are, you can't really say we deserved anything from the game. They targeted Luka with some dirty stuff and that was perhaps key to their game. Thank god I don't live there anymore!

6 points to the weed. I hope our over-privileged team and particularly the manager enjoy the rest of the day and take the opportunity to think about the remaining home games, and be brutally honest to themselves that the current strategy does not work. This should be a catalyst moment. The stats do not lie. Edited by southnorwoodhill (09 Mar 2019 2.27pm) Unfortunately the stats do not lie for about 4-5 months now. Roy makes the changes and clearly his favourite film is Groundhog Day.
