I have just looked at the last few pages on this thread. Palace fans are rightly celebrated but boy do we have our fair share of moaners and groaners!

I really get tired of the anti everything brigade. They are never satisfied, make no positive suggestions and probably couldn’t manage their way out of a paper bag. It only suggests to me they are all underachieving wannabes!

We won. It was comfortable. A potential embarrassment was averted. Be happy!

Always remembering walking from the Holmesdale to the Whitehorse end at half time!

Indeed.
I don't share the view of Kevin Kilbane in his gushing praise of our performance. We looked the more accomplished team but I really don't think that we were overly impressive.

Second half we were not composed at all, fortunate that Doncaster were just as bad.

Far from being as “comfortable” a win as the TV pundits claimed.

I thought Ayew played well.

Likewise Wayne H who seemed very reliable. Every time, a back pass comes at a keeper, there is scope for a howler, but he deals with them well. It helps that he’s two-footed.

Great to keep a clean sheet.

And credit to Donny for playing with class. I thought they were pretty impressive.

Scumwall in the last 8 please.

They don't deserve to play in a semi at Wembley so I want us to humiliate them in the 1/4 final.

When was the last time we did that? ..the last team I want to play is Millwall will definitely stir us up on and off the pitch, keep well away black eagle.

Do not agree about Ayew and our back passing was just horrendous, we did enough and Donny had impressive build ups only.

Yeah we have all witnesses the standard Palace scenario of never taking the easy route.

But at half time we were cruising and have made hard work of this game through negative tactics/ subs.

Cup run is fantastic and glad we have reached quarters but our league form suggests we are in regression under Hodgson. Clubs like Wolves, Watford, Bournemouth,Brighton etc have all over taken us in recent years and will easily finish above us because we simply aren’t ruthless enough. 20+ attempts on target each week means squat if you aren’t getting 3 points.

Sorry but that is rubbish, say that at the end of the season not now because you have no idea where we will end up, scrambled egg on face I think.

My only gripe today is the following - we sold out our allocation today and thousands of us travelled up making one hell of a noise from kick off to the final whistle. When the final whistle blew Benteke was near the touchline and halfway line and upon hearing the whistle vanished hurriedly down the tunnel. No shaking of hands with the Doncaster players on their big day, no congratulating team mates upon reaching an FA Cup quarter final and worst of all not even a glance towards those of us who decided to spend our hard earned cash travelling up to Yorkshire to
get behind the team. To be honest many of the players afterwards lacked any joy or thanking of our excellent support except for Joel Ward who on his own decided to come and thank us and to also hand his shirt to somebody in the crowd. Great day out and great hard fought result but for players who earn what they do and for supporters to pay what they do and give up the time that they do to follow the side I felt disappointed by the players reaction at the final whistle.

Top lad Ward.

Agree completely mate. Would only take a few seconds of their time.
