Now 8 points clear of the bottom 3, we're actually closer to 8th place Watford now. We should be more confident and start targeting that top half finish now, we've been in terrific form (United result aside) so may as well go for it.

Cardiff need 3 wins just to be ahead of us. As they still have Chelsea, City, Liverpool and ManUre they will have to do a miraculous turn around to catch us. Also still to play them ourselves. Like Warnock and would like him to stay up but think he's got one helluva job to keep them in the PL. COYP !!

Not quite sure how anyone thought relegation was a realistic outcome. We have never been in the bottom 3 all season and at our lowest point 16th, when we were struggling for strikers.
Teams below us would love to have our squad and manager.

Agree according to odds checker we are now a 325-1 shot to go down - when was the last time you saw a poor bookie..!!

IMO we'll beat Brighton and Huddersfield in our next league games - then go on to finish 11th..!!

Icing on the - FA Cup Final? Watford away in the quarters will be tough, but surely we owe them one.

Key to this will be beating Brighton next week - if we do this we are pretty much safe - then we can focus on the Cup.

After the 3-1 pre-Christmas debacle we owe ourselves an early Easter treat and give them a good thumping to put them firmly in their place and keep them right in the relegation mix.

Then onto Watford - Wilf to score the winner and give the "salute" to Harry the Hornet..!!

Beat Everton too ('bout time) and we could push for 10th.

When Palace have the high % of the match, how well do we play.... not so good, ... so with current team, play to the current Players strengths.... With almost 50 years of watching Palace, I almost don't want us on top for 1st 10 mins, because if we haven't scored, we generally don't play well for rest 80 mins lol (no nit all the time but a high %)

I would like to see us play more on the front foot rather than just be a second half team whereby we always seem to be chasing the game. The counter attack style has it moments such as Leicester and Man City but I would love to see us boss a game for 90 minutes and not give the opposition a sniff. We can play like this Burnley at home and Wolves away being examples this season.

I thought we started well against UTD and they are the form team!! But if we dont get the first goal, we struggle..Remember what UTD is "back" about. The current manager wants them to play three "Fergie" way, which means they we come strong at again at end of games!

3 more wins please and then lets get the tenth place.
Then now worries about Fa Cup run as no relegation.
Beat Brighton, then full best team against Watford..
we are not going down!!

Not always. We played well against utd ladt night after going 2-0 down. We pressed them high and took the game to them. Why couldn't we have started like that. Whoever we play and wether we play home or away, we play the same way. Teams know that in advance and we are so predictable. We have to mix it up sometimes. Roy has options in the squad now and yet plays the same team unless there are injuries.

Now the weekend's games are finished it is interesting (to me at least) to look at the current form table for points gained in the last 5 games:

15: Man City; 13: Man Utd; 10: PALACE, Arsenal , Watford; 9: Liverpool, Chelsea; 8: Wolves West Ham; 7: Spurs, Newcastle, Burnley; 6: Cardiff; 4: Everton Brighton Southampton; 3: Leicester, Huddersfield 1: Bournemouth; 0: Fulham

We are looking good!
