Personally I think Roy still hasn't got the balance between attack and defence quite right, despite now having the players at his disposal. Saying that, it's not his fault if players chose the wrong option or miss sitters.

Terrible first half, dominated the second but our awful finishing cost us points again. We must improve or it will be a scary end to the season.

Meyer was great coming off the bench, but remember this was against a team that had been run ragged in the second half. When he starts he just doesn't seem to have the same impact (yet). I think McArthur adds a doggedness that Meyer lacks and for an hour is a real pain for the opposition and then he seems to tire. I'm amazed to hear myself saying this, but I actually thought Schlupp played well. Overall a good team performance full of character.

Like them we will probably get home and over the threshold but how we do it we won't have a clue.

Cheers for making the thread glazedallover, hope everyone was able to stream alright. Just on the train back from the match. Was dreading the worst until the equaliser - the usual case of a team coming to Selhurst, sitting back, not playing well but winning away because we can't score or use the ball well. But that final 30 minutes was great and we should have won. Batshuayi MUST start - massively improves our play to have a confident striker demanding the ball to feet. And play Meyer in the home games against teams that sit back.

I also thought Kelly was great today (even though he missed a good opportunity) and I had questioned that decision. That cover and tackle was perfect.

Don't really understand some of the negative posts on here. First half wasn't great, but still think we played well. While thd 2nd half we totally dominated, playing some great football, creating some good chances, and missed 2 absolute sitters. And for those complaining we had less possession against Fulham last week, we had more than a good west ham team today. Even schlupp played well today. The one dissapointment was benteke who just seems totally lost .
