He is not. You don't know how to use him, that is pretty clear from the little time he has got.

As I have said before, he will go to another, better club and do perfectly well.

How do we use him?

There is no chance a better club will take him, not a prayer.

Sorry, but this is a bunch of players clearly not playing to instructions.

What instructions have they been given, and what are they not doing?

Now's the time to stick with it, Dave, painful as it may be.

Sorry Cucking. It feels like this has been dragging on each season now. A squad that just doesn't produce goals, a chairman that won't put the money in where it's clearly needed, and managers that come-and-go. Roy will no doubt be gone around Christmas, then the next upheaval.

I'm beginning to not care if we go down any more. Sometimes, I think we deserve it. And that concerns me.

Penalty goes in and we probably don’t lose - it’s a thin line but our squad is so weak. And with no forwards and Townsend and Schlupp playing awful today (all season really) we make it hard for ourselves. Not sure Hodgson had many alternatives to change it around. He did try to bring Wickham on when they got the first but to no avail as the second then went in. No one today stood out and that’s the problem this season. We are lacking in most areas and you will eventually concede once tiredness gets in near the end of matches and you don’t have quality on the bench. Everton had that quality today for which at 0.0 changed once those subs came on.

Up until they scored the Hodgson plan was working and he was happy to take the draw so probably didn't feel the need to possibly upset the apple cart by introducing someone from the bench.

Quite. Again, I blame this squarely on the players.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Too predictable. Man of The Match was won by Everton Manger with well timed three sub forwards attacking late on with Palace defence unable to hold out. Predictable by way of:

a) Palace unable to stop conceding goals late on in games
b) Roy not bringing on the fresh sets of legs mid 2nd half when Palace backs are against the wall
c) Lack of depth by way of strike force once again exposed
d) Opposition increasingly able to size up and deal with Wilf
e) Issues linger with Palace confidence?

What do you think?

Unfortunately all 3 would probably walk into our attack at the moment. Judging by Cardiff yesterday I would say we have the worse strike force in the league at the moment.

Are some people on this thread in the pay of Parish?

I'm sure he will love the fact that people are blaming the manager after the last two abysmal transfer windows.

He looks like the league's oldest manager, set in his ways, suddenly required to play some experimental fluid strikerless system because our striking options are non-existent! He's made a lot of errors lately but he's also got s*** all to work with. Today's line up just looked like a bunch of names picked out of a hat - no chance of balance in this team with this bunch of players.
