He is now 32.
A host of injury problems and he rarely lasts the entire game.
I suspect he will leave and probably return to France.

i would offer a one year deal, the problem is a decent replacement.

I have never had confidence in our scouting or negotiation tactices for decades.

It seems wrong, by some distance. We will comfortably avoid the drop, once again.

One day though, unless we change fundamentally how the club is run, we will have that bad season that Stoke just had.

But for now, lets just enjoy the achievement.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Absolutely - and I am thrilled to bits.

My dear wife was subjected to the anguish I went through week on week and the poor lady was buffeted as my angst spilled out.

To think that if we hadn't missed those late penalties against Bournemouth and Man C we would now be in 9th place !

No points and no goals after 7 games a succession of injuries to key players, our top scorer last season only scoring 3 goals - A remarkable job done by Hodgson, backed up by Lewington,Reid and Kiely.Fantastic.

Do we want to keep Cabaye, for me, I'm just not sure? Another 2 years if he wants?

Yes. He is still a very good player even if it is for 60/70 mins. Not easy to replace that kind of quality.

Cabaye would be a useful player to keep if he wants.
Supposing everyone is fit,who amongst what we already have would people like to see in our first 11 and formation.
The back line is what interests me ;

Goalkeeper

Bassaka Dann Tomkins Sakho PVA

Townsend Milivojevic McArthur Shlupp

A new striker
Apologies for anyone i have left out.

RLC could replace cabaye if cabaye leaves easy that's why we need to get either RLC on another loan or buy him permanently

Not as ideal as a four year contract. We should be looking to put together a big deal for RLC, lots of add ons, and get it on the table soon.

Keep the squad together, maybe dispense of Souare, and one of Kelly, the Pole, or Ward. Sad to see anyone leave but if your standing still in this league you’re going backwards. Gk and Rb the obvious positions to strengthen. If PVA is going to bomb forward can we afford another fullback that does the same? I think the pace of AWB has shown people what we miss at Rb. 2 or 3 tops for me don’t want Cabs to leave, even at 60-70minutes most games he’d leave a big hole.

Missed out the most obvious player.
