He’s correct though isn’t he, the players need to realise this because we don’t look like a side fighting for their lives. They thought the job was done and have taken their foot off the gas. Newcastle were there for the taking last week and we blew it!

And West Ham. Why does everyone keep forgetting about West Ham?

Didnt we beat Chelsea and draw with Man City not so long ago, so why cant we get anything out of Tottenham and Man United, we havent been relegated yet and the last 6 games are all winnable (as well as lose able)

There's always someone worse off...

You could be West Brom with Pardew in charge!

Surely enough to make us all smile and feel a little better right?!

Now here's Wright, his first chance to see what he can do, and he's through, it's Wright, ohhhh what an impact by the substitute. And it's Ian Wright who's sent the Palace fans into ecstasy!

Our team on Saturday still cost about £90m excluding TFM so they should be capable of getting some points. They need to start performing.

The bookies seem to think we're ok.

We're odds on to stay up (1/5) and at 3/1 on relegation there are five teams with shorter odds than us.

They don't normally get it that wrong - stay positive.

All good. Nothing bad.

As with most posters on here, I agree with some of their posts and not with others, but just because he, rightly in my opinion, does not subscribe to the foundationless optimism that currently purvades these boards, it does not make him any less a supporter than the rose-tinted ostrich brigade.

Again No one is being an " ostrich",well not in my case.
But there has to be a middle ground, yes we got beaten at Everton,Yes a lot of our relegation rivals picked up points.
#But it is still in our hands and I am confident in Roy doing the business.
Where you say we all have Blue and red specs on blah blah blah, well I get pissed off with all the people forever putting us down...so it works both ways pal.

Get f***ed off with all the doom and gloom merchants...and before you come out with the usual
crap about this is Palace I have supported them for x number of years...well guess what so have I ...more years than I care to remember.
I am worried about this year, but then I have been worried about us for the past 5 years in the premier league.
every one is entitled to their opinion and that's mine.

always a Norwood boy, where ever I live.

Absolutely agree. Everyone has a different view. Theres nothing wrong with being critical of the team. Just because you and many others remain positive, to the point of being blinded by faith it doesnt make everything ok. Same can me said of someone like myself who I would say is less positive on our position does not help the situation either. The main reason a lot of people feel angry about the current plight is that it could have been so easily avoided and could have been managed so much better. An element of shooting ourselves in the foot if you were.

If we make the same errors against the big teams over the next few weeks as we did on Saturday we will get slaughtered.
I only saw MoD admittedly but defensively were all over the place and whilst I admit that some of it looked like the midfield not doing their jobs I really think we have a huge problem.
I have this horrible feeling that it will all come down to Pardew at our place on the lst day and I am not sure I can face that!
Without Wilf we need to tighten up and try not to lose first and foremost but if we can't do that the who knows what will happen.
I hope to be able to eat much humble pie when we beat spurs ina couple of weeks time!

He's quite honourable, so I think that he may offer to, but whether we'd want to accept is another question.
