You'll be saying next that you'd sooner have the House of Lords populated by independent hereditary peers - you know, those who have a real stake in the land (rather than global corporations as paymaster) and who actually know something about the sharp end of land, farming, housing and workforces. .........and you'd probably be right about that too

How many politicians would lie and suggest they help their wife around the house. You don't have to agree with his policies but it was an honest answer. By the way the nanny of his kids was his nanny she has been with the family many years.

Just heard the lowlife interviewed on LBC. Completely unapologetic and blamed JRM for bringing his kids out. The interview had to be cut short due to his swearing. He claims to be protesting Tory benefit cuts, fair enough. However "Mr Compassionate" came across as a nasty vicious bitter old man. I think Nick Ferrari wasn't impressed and implied he was a W**ker. He didn't do his cause any good by claiming the Tories are nasty and then being nasty himself.

I don't think JRM or anyone should have to put up with that abuse. Immediately thought of Jeremy Corbyn's house under 24 hour siege must take a lot to put up with that. And it is quite wrong, I expect the response would be that 'we do not have the manpower' etc.

Other than the criticism he is rightly receiving I don't think any other action should be taken against Ian Bone. It was ill advised, rude and crass to involve children. However, I think his free speech is just as important as mine. Edited by Stirlingsays (13 Sep 2018 11.55am)
