First half we were the better side but second half we were poor. Hitnand hope football, it's useless. We've shown we can play so we should bring it down and try and play. Hoofing it to benteke constantly is not only hopeful, it's just so predictable. Shooting on sight. I respect the point but it's so frustrating to watch when we have players who are technically good just playing aimlessly. I didn't see any of tonight's game, but I felt that hoofing the ball to Benteke on Saturday enabled us to exert some pressure on Stoke which we hadn't managed to do in the first half of that game.

f*** me that was painfully boring to watch, what a disappointment, was expecting a bit more passion than that. At least we got our first away clean sheet, WH did well, he's looking a bit more confident I think? Been thinking recently how could they not put a fixture like this on UK TV, but you know what, the people that choose these things really know their stuff. Night all. They know their stuff? You never saw all those shyte big 4 matches a few years back when they cancelled each other out then?

Come on, you lot, that could've been worse. Not inspiring going forward against a stout defence and three days after the last match. Clean sheet, Hennesey looked decent again, a point away from home. Didn't do anything stupid, either. Tomkins MoTM again for me. Solid. Agreed. Still need to work on those first touches though. Poor close control is killing us in our build ups. The "Weed" could easily have pinched it with all those corners but we held firm. Next couple of games are quite winnable so we might be out of the bottom 3 soon.

exactly - Zaha is like James Milner so predictable, sideways passes, RLC and Cabaye are championship standard, and what were they thinking spending all that money on established internationals from top six sides like Townsend and Benteke, they lower the tone when they play in front of our magnificent main stand. I hope that is tongue in cheek otherwise you seriously know nothing about football.

First point away from home. Opportunity to go level with West Brom on points on Saturday. We've spent the first third of the season bottom of the table and hopefully we will finally move off it.

I hope everyone's also remembering that Man U only just pipped that lot at Old Trafford. They don't threaten much but they are damn hard to break down. West Brom look a lot iffier. Edited by chateauferret (28 Nov 2017 9.51pm)

Bangell - If Camus wrote The Myth of Sisyphus today, it would be about Jason Puncheon eternally trying and failing to pass with his right foot. |

Disappointing game, but Hughton has got them really well organised, they supposedly gave Utd their toughest game of the season last Saturday.
