Justifiable stick. It won't be long before the media start referring to us as Crystal Parish.

Throughout the whole anti Parish debate in the last couple of weeks on HOL I have remained either neutral or supportive but no longer can I support a chairman that clearly has no clue what he's doing.

To post on Twitter that we should all stick together and then to sack the manager the following morning is symptomatic of a chairman who isn't in full control of his marbles let alone a football club

That's how we're known in China already.

Make sure you get all of the correct sound bites in:

We are a laughing stock
SP didn't give FDB enough time
He should never have hired FDB
He was pushed into it by the Yanks
He is an egomaniac
The tea lady never liked FDB from the day he ordered coffee
Roy is so past it we are certainties for relegation
Roy was always rubbish
Freedman is also rubbish
Sammy Lee would be rubbish
We should have had Dyche
Only the fans wanted Sakho
We are all going to stop watching
We are the best supporters in the land
blah, blah, blah...

I'm an old hand mate. Was on when we couldn't buy a win under pards.

There's a live holradio.net show tonight at 8 as well.

Take your spat back to General Talk. It's frankly weird how much time you lot invest in winding each other up on an internet forum.

You do wear a Parka, but not a green one.

Will you be wearing any left wing badges?

Shocking decision! All the talk of we want to evolve as a great footballing club. Then they sack someone who wasn't even given a real chance to change things. Four/five games is not enough to impose a new style of playing. FdB should have been given more time to bed things in. Now we are looking at same old style and getting a dinosaur like Hodgson in! We are going backwards as club not forwards. We keep making the same mistakes.

Yeah...Palace talk....the home of no spats.

Yours is a sensible post....that's why it has no home here either.

An ignominious defeat on Saturday and I would have felt pity but accepted it as an experiment that went wrong. However, an excellent performance lacking only in luck and a bit of confidence against a team that has had a terrific start; and away from home; and after only 5 games...

I can't recall the last time I felt sick to the stomach to be a Palace fan. We should have waited until after the Saints game what with 4 players hopefully reaching full fitness, Sakho added to the equation and possibly Wilf.

An awful thing to do to a man; and an even worse thing to do to the team. I hope this is a view shared by the older more sensible posters on this site.

In Hodgeson we have engaged another stop gap. He will keep us up but only just.

As for Liverpool fans laughing at us, I suppose it is a compliment that they would deign to even consider us. However, what did not work for them does not mean something that will not work for us. Just don't expect the Ranieri effect.
