Listening to the guardian football podcast, they mentioned that Italy have a managerial academy where the likes or Conti and Machini graduated. The main deal with the academy is to get managers to be adaptable and create their own style. They said this had been successful and pointed to the winners some of the major titles this year are Italian. Maybe someone from there...would know how to defend at least.

What manager would suit our players. We need a manager with a defensive structure that we can thrive off of. That why I'd suggest Blanc after watching manage in the champions league with psg, his tactics are good. He played a similar formation at psg also. While ranieri or Mancini would be great to watch in a presser , in my view that are very short term appointments. We must remember with have players like Delaney, dann and mcarthur and whilst a possession game would be great to watch. That isn't what suits our players. I'm sure Parish will get it right. I think it time to roll the dice and take a risk.

Silva or Jokanovic for me. There are some really depressing names being mentioned, I fear we'll end up with Moyes.

I may be biased but I do agree! At least he has proven himself at lower league level. Really should avoid Manicini, whining , over spending and overrated. Doubt if he wants to leave Reading if they win promotion
Seems to me one name under the radar....done a great job in one season , and has total respect as a player .......Jaap Stam

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Jokanovic' by Guntrisoft Nuff said. Lives in London, plays proper football, got Fulham going in the right direction. Ranieri - Fell on his feet at Leicester, lost the dressing room. Hodgson - Used Harry Kane to take corners at last year's Euros. McLaren - Don't even go there. Coleman - Likes Swansea a bit too much for my liking.

Jeremy Corbyn will be looking for a new job soon. Trouble is he will want to play for a draw in every game in the interests of equality.

Does it matter who we bring in it's going to have the same result anyway , no funds for squad improvement no decent academy setup therefore a vicious cycle

For me it has to be either Ranieri or Mancini. With wealth of experience they both boast either one could push us up the table
