You've listed not upgrading selhurst park as one reason, this just shows how naive and little you actually know.

Post a link to where I've said that and I'll pay for a three course meal for you and anyone desperate enough to want to go with you.

Hopefully you will now shut up and crawl back under your stone

If it was someone else that mentioned it and not you then fair enough I'm wrong.

We got Sam in to do a job and keep us up, his done the job and now decided to retire from football due to personal reasons. From that you've decided to assume that every manager walks due to parish getting too involved with the footballing side of things, only one manager you can make that argument for and that was pulis and parish was well within his right in that instance. So yeah still clueless.

Shall we just give managers free reign over our whole football club and finances, maybe we could reach the dizzying heights of pompey.

Oh it was willo, there's a surprise another poster who has no idea what his talking about unless his sat in front of Wikipedia.

If Sam was only brought in to do a job to keep us up why was he given a two and a half year contract when a six month contract would have been more appropriate.

The rest of your post is just more of your usual b0ll0x because you leap into pit bull mode without bothering to read what has been written properly.

You really shouldn't be allowed on a forum if you only respond to posts on the basis of what you wish had been said or what you think may have been said.

Try reading posts properly and responding accordingly

I don't know, just maybe it's because the board didn't foresee him deciding to retire from football come the end of this season.

There is no argument anyway I don't need to justify on here what parish has done for our club it's plainly obvious.

We've came from having the 17th highest budget in the 2nd division to our fith season in the premier league and 15th richest club in Europe. No other club in world football has had as big a turn around. Even more impressive when you take into account the manager turn around we've had.

I have NO recollection whatsoever of stating that managers leave due to the stadium NOT been upgraded.
And I have NOT criticised Steve for the fact that there hasn't been too much tangible progress on the upgrade.
Kindly get your facts right before hurling brickbats.

Neither did I accuse you of saying managers leave due to the stadium. I did accuse you of implying that people should question parish due to the upgrade of selhurst park tho but thanks.

NO I never implied that at all.
All I said is that some supporters might hold this against Steve - I wasn't suggesting for a moment that I was of this mindset.

I do not think that anyone doubts that SP has in the past done a great job by ensuring that we have not gone under as we so easily could have done back in 2010. However, we must not keep looking back its the future that matters now and not the past which unlike the future cannot be changed. What people are concerned about is the slowness in which we move and SP hands on approach to football matters which seems to upset good quality Managers. Eddie Howe recently thanked his Chairman for not being hands on as far as the football side was concerned. That does not mean that the chairman does not get involved in setting budgets and running the business but unlike SP, once the budget is set and agreed then he lets Eddie implement it which is called releasing the potential and believing in your people. Thats all we are saying, so please do not get wound up all we want is a settled Manger and team that can hold its own in the best league in the world!

But where is evidence of this happening, I've never heard once of parish getting involved in the football side.

Well there is one incident which was deciding to sign wilf against pulis wishes, which I would actually usually disagree with but and this is a massive but, wilf has been our player of the season the last 2 years, has received more plaudits this year than the whole west Brom team put together but the reason pulis didn't sign him, because he wouldn't be receiving a nice brown envelope. So wanted to blow our money on crouch and walters or whoever it was, which we all know would of included back handers from agents and pulis a nice little percentage of the signing fee. So yeah parish was right to do that.

Makes him an even better owner actually.
