I don't think today was that bad...considerING the players who weren't playing and the fact city had a very sTring side out, I thought we did ok until there second goal went in. In fact in the fire half we had a couple of really good chances and remy should have scored start of second half. Toure should have been sent off first half, definate second booking but ref bottled it. Mutch should never play again, Flamini looked hos age, and benteke needs a rocket up his a**e, but the rest were ok...

I have made it clear, repeatedly, I didn't want him. I just find it odd that you were all for more time for AP after an entire year of bad results, but want Sam out already.

this whole a year of bad results things is just like putting a political spin on something. much like saying, well last season we stayed up & got to the cup final.

the same people who preach about 2016 record seem to forget the unreal 2015 we had as a club.

when he was sacked we were averaging a point a game. enough for us to stay up over a season

we are now averaging 0.2 points a game.

Benteke should be shown a video of the two lads that played up front for Wolves today against the scousers. First guy ran himself into the ground for an hour then his replacement upped it for the last half hour. Great shift by both and created chances through graft and not a little skill.

I had a few people asking me why I didn't go the game today, saying that it being the FA Cup, you never know etc. Well, looks like my intuition was right, another BFS loss.

I have no idea how well we have played today so I will reserve judgement on this game but my gut feeling is that BFS will be out by summer, such a poor start so far overall.

I look back at the Pulis days when we had a real squad, some fight, some toughness. If you don't have talent, you need guts and good squad chemistry, but if you don't have either..you get in our situation.

Back from the game.
After the first 10mins, we came into the game more but City had so many good players.
Big Benny looked like he'd been told to save himself for Tuesday evening but Andros had a far better game than of late and swung in quite a few dangerous crosses/free kicks. Jeffrey is a powerhouse but got caught slightly out of position for the first goal. Looks like a hamstring injury might keep him out Tuesday.
We had at least 3 good chances but only hit the target with one when their keeper made a reasonable save from James T.
Overall not too bad and didn't deserve 0-3. Toure scored his customary goal at the death.
Tuesday night is the important one and will hopefully see Wilf back. COYP.

We move in the direction of our thoughts.
Just think a little.

Brian clough always maintained 'The League' was always the priority. He never won an FA cup, but did just dandy in Europe.
Maintaining our Premiership status (and the money it brings) is vital to the development of the club and its facilities/infa-structure.

Today Sam had the luxury of tinkering with the team and trying-out some under-used players. The fact we got beaten was no big surprise, and is of little consequence in the bigger picture.

I disengage, I turn the page.

The crunch will come when folks are asked to dig into their pockets to renew their season ticket. Losing Premiership money is one thing but being unable to fill the ground is another.

Hopefully, we'll be back on track before that happens. Games against Bournemouth, Sunderland and Boro are our Cup Finals this year.

BFS says league is priority. So what does he do? plays our new 13m signing who is now injured and likely to be out a few weeks. And on the subject of signings compare Snodgrass @£10m Schlupp 13m and now Van aarnholt at 14m talk about throwing money at it Beggars belief!

Professional athletes mate. Its marginal gains at their levels of fitness. Its all they do all week. 5 weeks is plenty of time at their level to make an improvement. I have a more than reasonable understanding of anatomy and physiology thanks having undertaken advanced medical training. Move on from the Pardew thing its boring.

Rubbish their is different levels to fitness you can't just say well text book fitness about the human body this time is fine.

When it comes to sports fitness each sport has different levels example is a boxer you get him to play football he wont be fit to play that sport because it requires a different type.

Now if you have a different manager come in as has happened with Palace wanting to play a different type of football then they need to retrain to work on fitness style to suit that play this is hard to do when you have busy periods of games because routine is the key.

Look at Pep when he came to City he straight away stated the players are not what he expects fitness wise and even months later into the season still mentioned it.
