One of the thing BFS needs to sort out is to stop us conceding in the dying minutes of each game. Our back 4 don't seem to last a full 90 mins. The other problem we have is the midfield lacking pace going forward and tracking back.

Not saying I agree with it but this is how we've always played in recent history. Probably due to the managers and the quality of the players (their skills) we've had. I would love to see us keep possession more, move it around all over the pitch, who wouldn't, but you are ultimately the product of your tactics and philosophy on how you play the game, the bottom 3 says it all for us. The lack of quality we display currently all over the pitch is staggering! SA has an immense job to keep us up this season. If by some miracle he succeeds, then expect a massive clean out next season. To some extent this club lacks "spine" both on and off the field (i.e. management and administration).

I wouldn't disagree with you. I looked at Pardew as trying to progress the club into an attacking passing side....that's the only hope of moving into mid table and above.

We spent big this season....32 million on one player is incredible really.

We can try to clear out poorly performing players but you can only sell what others are willing to buy and poorly performing players on good contracts don't tend to want to leave..what is in effect a good meal ticket.

We need Zaha to come back and save us because we aren't looking like a goal is coming from anywhere other than a set play.

That doesn't keep a side in the Premiership.

Bitterly disappointed and angry but after calming down and thawing out, the performance showed lots of things to feel positive about.
The first half we shaded but the second we invited too much pressure to expect anything but a loss.
Schlup looks like a fantastic piece of business.

Ok I know we lost but I thought the performance was much improved & the players were more committed to the cause.
Allardyce & the new coaching set-up are just starting to have a positive effect & we look more solid with the back five & im confident we will pull away from the relegation zone.

Well done to Wayne for pulling off some vital saves in the first half & both Remy and Sclupp look good but fairplay all the players put in positive performances.

Get behind the team.

I think Hennessey, Speroni, Fryers, Kelly, Delaney, Flamini, Campbell, Ledley, Remy and Appiah are all out of Contract, or their loans are ending in the summer.

If we can just stay in the Premiership, keep hold of the few and replace the others with Premiership quality alternatives then this would be quite a step forward.

Remarkably, bookies still have Swansea as more likely to get relegated than us

Surely weeks and weeks equates to at least 4 weeks....... Mmmmmmmm!!!

Not weeks and weeks ago, only 4 weeks to be entirely accurate.
Still Pardew's fault then.

So we should qualify for Europe by May then.

I'd like to keep Hennessey, Speroni will no doubt be offered something with the club. Remy would be an easy decision if it weren't for the injury record.

The problem is with our large wage earners like Cabaye or Benteke if we go down.....I can see big Sam getting rid of Townsend this transfer window.

How much are we going to get for Cabaye and Benteke....I can see big losses on Benteke....I don't see us selling Tomkins and he will probably be a top performer in the championship.

Why on earth was Pardew allowed to continue for so long on his poor form, SP has to accept some of the blame for our position and I'm sure the Americans will not be happy with that?
