..yes they are terrible results but not terrible displays and I firmly believe Palace will accumulate the desired amount of points to not cause upset come near the end, I always look at the team and their performance over the results and all I can see is silly individual mistakes game after game which has nothing to do with the manager or anyone off the pitch but it has everything to do with some individuals who are just not quite up to it under severe pressure, which is a very fine line and we are not far away from being a very useful side, today Man.City and especially their fans know they had a game and were quite lucky to take all the points, ask any neutral who watched that and they will all say the same, no way can Pardew be sacked with a team so close to being this good........no way, that's what I personally think anyway, but you are perfectly right to think the way you do ..but hopefully you will be wrong

Bringing off a 6ft 4inch player that can help out defending on their set pieces and give them something to think about up the other end(especially with Kompany off), for a short light weight 'luxury player', is f**king ridiculous.

Kelly was clearly at fault for the first goal..he could have passed back to Hennesey but did a blind pass infield which went straight to a City player ( De Bruyne I think). For their second goal I saw Wickham looking at the bench asking who he should mark..in the time being they took a quick corner and scored. And why do we not have a man at the far post for corners....Rondon scored an easy header for West Brom and now this.
And Pardew is not exempt form criticism here...bringing off Benteke was a mistake. Even if he's not playing well he occupies defenders and this is in part why Wickham is now scoring.
I feel so frustrated..we played well, they were average and we should have got a point.

We should have 'we deserved a point', written under our badge.
Seem to be saying it after every c**ting game

..if it said under our badge 'deserve nothing' then by all means boot Pardew, but he does not deserve to be let down in almost every game and Lee/Benteke didn't cause their winner ..it was someone who wasn't paying attention again in our silly defence.

Can't blame the manager for players mistakes. However I can criticise him for not having the right environment for the team at Beckenham.
This team lacks focus and discipline, two of the biggest factors that got us to where we are today. Pardew is known as a players coach. One of the lads, a good laugh. No problem with that if Tony Pulis is your no.2, but it is when the no.2 is also a players friend. There's no jeopardy if you make a mistake. Players need to be kept on their toes and disciplined when they ain't.
It's like the classroom of the cool young teacher who wants to be everyone's friend. The first thing to go is the discipline, then the dress code. Soon the players will start wearing whatever kit they want, Hennessey's already started.

Jedinak was sold because of AP wanting to be the big man with all the influence you can tell it was this just look at all the players as soon as AP came in that he didn't give chances to they was people that had influence in dressing room and fans liked.

Jedinak scared the living daylights out of me everytime he touched the ball, he was OK stopping play, but a lot of the reasons why he then had to stop play was because he just gave the oppositon the ball......again! Palace are trying to get away from doing this and it will mean more players are going to have to go.

I would have preferred Wickham to have been taken off instead of Benteke, Benteke would have known his role from corners and is generally better at hold up and not making stupid tackles. A manager should be able to substitute a sub; even if he's scored and played well. It should be what's best for the team and the players should accept that.

How can a Prem team defend like that from a corner ?
FFS! A corner conceded should reset the defending mind not switch it off.
Kelly perhaps unlucky when his standing foot slipped.
2 goals given away rather than created.
Cracker from Wickham, nicely played in by Wilf.
Nearly nicked a draw at the end.
Thought Hennessey played well though I see someone here thinks he should be out (shakes head).
Pardew NOT at fault in my oppinion.

Should never have been a corner. Kelly could easily have let it run out for a goal kick or put it out for a throw. He was also badly at fault for the first. If we'd had a decent left back we win that game. Friars must be doing absolute sh**t in training not to get in the team.can't believe there's not a left back somewhere in the club better than Kelly.
