Agreed. A shame McArthur tried to head it but we'd fume if he didn't! A draw was a fair result but it's great we can go there and leave feeling we were the better team. Everton will do well this season.

Actually nothing to do with McArthur. That was just the pundits making anything up to justify not giving the goal. Pardew has just confirmed that the lino told him he flagged because he thought Damo was offside. Major howler

AP has got to take credit for our change in style. Looks the lino did make a mistake so very unlucky.

He didn't make a mistake. Technically he was correct. Sadly for us a lot of linesmen probably wouldn't have noticed it.

Their goal was a free kick, but should have been indirect.

Thing that annoyed me most about the ref was the yellow cards = 9 in a game that was hardly dirty.

Incredible showing when you put it in context of where we have come from and the type of game we played up to the end of last season. We deserved the win at the end, the play was good, the defence was solid we looked dangerous and they mostly didn't .

I'm not a big fan of Delaney but he was outstanding. Outstanding.

The team without Cabaye just has had a nice balance so far. That's not to criticise the Frenchman -- merely an observation.

I'm not a big fan of Pardew bit he has to take some credit for that. Anything else would be churlish.

Thought the back 4 looked solid tinight (apart from Delaney's high foot) impressed with Tomkins and Kelly and ward both played well. Delaney was just delaney = a warrior.

I agree.

Ref was not good. But, he was poor for both teams.

If it was Clatten"**k we would have been screwed.

I thought they were all excellent. They should have jumped for the free kick though.

I though Bolasie's challenge on Ward was potentially very, very, very nasty and not the Yala I knew. He seemed to be hostile to the Palace fans which was very, very sad.

He was wrong because he flagged offside on Damo

One.(yup one) year ago I thought we were lucky to get the point. Now, against the same but improved opponent we get the same result save THEY Are the lucky ones.

Anyone who doesn't see that as improvement and room for optimism doesn't really understand the game

DivingIsNotGood is the only moron.

..the game was controlled by us very well, we had our spell and scored the winner as planned, sadly the officials need help and cannot cope with the pressure, how can three people know and understand exactly what is going on? they can't and it is destroying our entertainment, Moss has fallen out of clatterburgs pants.

Ain't that the truth.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Our best performance yet for me we deserved more than the draw.
Very difficult to go to Goodison on that tight pitch to a team thats playing well.
Showed great charachter and i thought the back four were top class !!
Well done Palace keep it going !!!
Benteke was worth every penny.
