Incredible showing when you put it in context of where we have come from and the type of game we played up to the end of last season. We deserved the win at the end, the play was good, the defence was solid we looked dangerous and they mostly didn't . I'm not a big fan of Delaney but he was outstanding. Outstanding. The team without Cabaye just has had a nice balance so far. That's not to criticise the Frenchman -- merely an observation. I'm not a big fan of Pardew bit he has to take some credit for that. Anything else would be churlish.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

Thought the back 4 looked solid tinight (apart from Delaney's high foot) impressed with Tomkins and Kelly and ward both played well. Delaney was just delaney = a warrior.

I agree. Ref was not good. But, he was poor for both teams. If it was Clatten"**k we would have been screwed. I thought they were all excellent. They should have jumped for the free kick though. I though Bolasie's challenge on Ward was potentially very, very, very nasty and not the Yala I knew. He seemed to be hostile to the Palace fans which was very, very sad.

One.(yup one) year ago I thought we were lucky to get the point. Now, against the same but improved opponent we get the same result save THEY Are the lucky ones. Anyone who doesn't see that as improvement and room for optimism doesn't really understand the game
