'Profile of the candidate' ha ha ha. Sorry but Swans have only just finished their parachute payments so had a bigger budget than a lot of the championship - much more than Barnsley for instance Lampard won't cost 5m in comp, arguably better than Cooper in just about every way. Cooper lacks the charisma to inspire players as far as I've seen. You can't just write off Lampards managerial achievements in the way you have, by forum hearsay. Bad politik
I'm not sure if this is a joke or not but it's just downright factually incorrect. Swansea had a net spend of -£50m under Cooper. Parachute payments are irrelevant. They haven't invested in the squad and sold nearly all of their big price players. James to United, McBurnie to Sheffield United, Rodon to Spurs. Lampard spent money and brought players in such as Mount at Derby and had the same type of points tally as Gary Rowett before him. He then spent over £200m at Chelsea on a team which he left in 9th, prior to them winning the CL.

There is a huge difference between Championship and Premiership football. Cooper doesn’t not have the experience in my opinion at the present time to take the pressures of the Premiership. There is also a massive difference between coaching Wrexham and Liverpool youth and England U16 & U17. Cooper has never played league football his most appearances is for Bangor City 57 games. What I would like to see,Ideally would be young up and coming managers like Cooper working and taken under the wings of more experienced managers learning the trade and experiencing the pressures of league football.

So if the gossip is to be believed: Wolves have their man This leaves us with Cooper or Ishmail unless Parish has a left field target. Reminds me of going to a nightclub, you spend the evening trying to chat up the prettiest girls but you know which one you will walk home with. My mate is fond of saying he always goes for the ugly one first, it save time.

Good point this, the argument that pros make better manager is flawed although you did miss Ron Noades from the list maybe SP could emulate his time at Brentford!

The phrase is "get ugly early" There are plenty of decent managers out there at the moment.

Dyche reportedly agreed new contract with burnley, said to be backing him in transfer market, according to 90 mins-whatever that is. This could all end in tears. Apparently they have bought the club in similar fashion to how the Glazier's purchased Man U. This means they'll have to pay back the loan using Burnley's future profits.
