So 100 fanatics are now the majority of the 25000 people who attend Palace home games are they? As for the online petitions as has been pointed out they have no validity unless only Palace season ticket holders were allowed to vote. And in case it escaped your notice there are plenty of people on here celebrating the very fact of people being moved out of their seats. This thread has done nothing but set fan against fan, something I never thought would ever happen to the Palace family.

Not browsed this thread lately but the recent announcement is a reasonable solution to this situation.
I sympathise with those who will be moved but I would suggest to them that this is in the best interests of their beloved club.
I hope the HF will now return to their position for the time being as available seating allows. They should now hopefully feel the appreciation that they crave and recognise that 'striking' was detrimental to the club they support, albeit with a happy ending.

Everybody wins here. The clubs reputation will be restored and let's face it, we will never have the best stadium but at least we can make a great atmosphere.

I must give a final opinion.
So it really is mob rule at Selhurst Park,and a complete bottle job by Steve Parish,very sad.
So a lot of people who've stuck by Palace in the dark days of the old Third Division, and turned up when attendances were less than 10,000,are now going to be turfed out so a few glory hunters clad in black can jump about waving flags.
And to hell with the rest of the guys in the lower Holmesdale,because everyone there will be affected now, young and old.
If God forbid, we did start plummeting down to the lower divisions,I wonder how many of those selfish drum thumping rascals would still turn up

I know the people who will be forced to change their seat will always attend,it's in their blood.But they will be bitterly disappointed by their treatment.

The board own the seats and everyone is probably just intimating that the board view this decision on the seats they own is the right one for the club. They wouldn’t do it if it wasn’t.

If this was handled properly and professionally in the first place the fallout wouldn’t be as bad as it has and there’d be less division.

In the case of long term season ticket holders, if it came down to whether they can be more crucial these days compared to the atmosphere, then you know what the board would be thinking. It’s unfortunate but that’s the case. We’re really lucky to be where we are and relegation could happen very easily. I’m sure Parish would rather have everything possible in our favour, and that goes beyond any crucial points I believe an atmosphere can have in relegation battles.

You seem to be completely ignoring the interests of the club. This is not about prioritising one set of supporters over another, it is about improving the match day atmosphere. Surely that is worth the sacrifice. Ultimately the board can do as they please. It is their club. I understand that some fans might feel disrespected, but they need to see the bigger picture. It ain't personal. The HF have not behaved well in this but they are a valuable part of the Palace image in 2018 and we need something that is pure Palace, especially while our ground remains a cow shed.

Just so I am clear... those currently in Block E may have to move seats next season ? They aren't being ejected from the ground or losing any limbs?
