It won't wither and die until we remove the mechanisms that promote and perpetuate it. Instead, we are letting it spread in our largely secular country that took 500 years to achieve. Secularism will eventually triumph, of that I am certain. Education and logic ensure that is so. Maybe not in our lifetimes, but it will.

Seeing something is not the same as living it. There are many parts of London which people would leave tomorrow given the means and opportunity. Most people can move if they have the determination to do so. Whether they should is another question. You don't have to live it to be able to understand it. In fact if you live it your view is liable to become distorted by your personal experiences. Which is in evidence in these threads.

They have and are still doing so. Driven out of their traditional homes by the blight of mass immigration. That though has always been so. It's unfortunate for those affected, at least for a time. Some relatives of mine left Southall in the 1960s because of the influx of Indians and the smell of curry in their street. They were made offers too good to refuse and moved here, to Cornwall. They never looked back. Built a successful business and retired with several million in the bank. They were self employed building labourers in London. Edited by Wisbech Eagle (29 Jul 2019 4.41pm)

There were plenty of religious wars and sacrifices to get Britain to where it was. It's almost still ongoing in NI. It doesn't seem right that a potential religious conflict be foisted on to the people who clearly did not agree with the increasing Islamification of their home towns. People on here mention London, we are bound to have London connections, but there are other places probably worse than Shadwell or Slough. Bradford/ Blackburn/ Leicester/ Coventry/ Birmingham - I could list dozens.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'BBC fake news - Tommy Robinson' by Midlands Eagle You hear this time and again from normies and the left about Robinson....look at his house, look at the money. Nowhere do they mention the businesses activists shut down that he ran. Nowhere do they mention the fact that any job he'd take they would continually harass until he was gone. They don't mention the death threats against him and his family. These individuals talk about Robinson's money when they are the type of people who gave him no other option anyway. As usual this NPC doesn't know what he's talking about regarding Robinson and when he left the EDL. That was down to Robinson opposing what he felt were far right elements within that were anti Israeli.....lets put it like that, whereas that's part of Robinson's bread and butter. Robinson is anti Islamic because he's a nationalist and believes it's incompatiable to the west and will change England from being English permanently....but Robinson is a civic nationalist, which is different from many who support him....Robinson thinks anyone can be English if they want to be. Anyone with more than two brain cells and five minutes can quickly work out where the main funds for Robinson come from.....watch the video link below....it isn't hard to work out and has been known for some time. But they carry on like the fools they are because thinking requires focus. I'm going to support Robinson within the context of what he's dealing with......I don't support everything that comes out of his mouth but it's similar to Trump....I don't support a lot of what he does....but I look at the alternatives and the opposition.....and I know which side my bread is buttered. I don't throw the baby out with the dishwater.

Most people who can’t afford their own property don’t find it that easy to move. There are many factors, family commitments, employment, schooling, etc

My understanding is that with "Robinson" there was a serious attempt made at rehabilitation during his first time inside, which resulted in an apparent change of direction on his release. This though did not last for long. We can only speculate why. No doubt some will say that the situation outside was so serious it demanded his attention whilst others might think he was made aware of the money making opportunities which were now available to him. However, if you are warned that further transgressions will result in heavier punishments and ignore those warnings you cannot be surprised at the consequences. So where is the patience and resolution in your last sentence?

Secularism will eventually triumph, of that I am certain. Education and logic ensure that is so. Maybe not in our lifetimes, but it will. And yet despite our 21st century science and wisdom, the vast majority of the world's population is religious. Unsurprisingly, while the secular have fewer children, the religious are breeding rapidly and growing in number. You seem to have assumed that those in power won't be religious themselves. At this rate, Britain will be ruled by Muslims and Hindus in the near future and the US by Catholics. Who will be pushing for secularism then?

The ones in the UK are largely economically active and law-abiding. They usually speak good English and have respect for the rights of women and gays. Edited by PalazioVecchio (29 Jul 2019 5.03pm)

Edited by Wisbech Eagle (29 Jul 2019 4.41pm) There was a time when there were plenty of places to escape to, but those places are becoming less available. In the future, there will be nowhere to escape to. You seem to have no capacity for thinking ahead. Your grandchildren will wish that your generation had not been so short-sighted as yet another mosque goes up.
