If the democrats can retain their 8% lead in the popular vote, it won't matter how much Trump rigs the vote in 2 years time. Trump did not win the popular vote at the presidential election either, narrowly losing to Mrs Clinton. She should be president but that would mean democracy and one man one vote. Like us that would never do. Ha, that'll be the job of the deep state that you appear to love.

Yesterday, on the 9 O'Clock News, the National broadcaster in Ireland (RTE) reported how many seats the Democrats needed, literally without any discussion of the Republicans. Edited by ASCPFC (07 Nov 2018 9.23pm)

Well done that reporter, Acosta, never lost his professionalism. And a complete pain in the arse to Trump. Trump tried to get rid of him as he did not want to admit he had said 'an invasion' but it backfired as the other reporter then supported Acosta, whereupon Acosta resumed where he left off !!!! The USA system is totally flawed with its concentration of power into one individual.

The USA system is totally flawed with its concentration of power into one individual. ???????? You're have frequently made statements showing contempt for the democratic process when it goes against your ideas. You show support for the EU....which places near total power in an unelected commission. As for the US system.....what on earth are you talking about?....The US president's power is checked significantly by two......frigging two separate sets of politicians. A politician has to be popular enough with the electorate to win both houses to even get their agenda though without significantly compromising.....and that's only for two years until they face another election that can alter that power dyamanic. So what are you suggesting?.....that people should have a national election and vote for a president without the power of implementing any agenda?

So refusing to hand his mic back to a White House aide and continually shouting at the President is being professional? Flawed? Why don't you have a read of the US Constitution and come back to me...

Just seen the BBC story reporting that Acosta has had his credentials taken away by the White House. The tweets they post up about the incident all support Acosta. They couldn't find one person that didn't. Funny that! [Link] Acosta denies touching the intern, yet when right-wing commentator Paul Joseph Watson produces a zoomed-in version, they discredit him as a "right-wing conspiracy theorist" and apparently "observers" say his clip was doctored. Funny how the BBC doesn't name the observers or show even show the clip... [Tweet Link]
I just love objective journalism from the BBC! Edited by Penge Eagle (08 Nov 2018 11.44am)
