Its going to get worse . . .

They have got what they wanted from CPFC, a 'singing' section in Block E LH. There will be loads of grief if the 'impose' their will on other fans, me incl.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Good to have a resolution.

I hope the club goes about re-seating the people who have had their season tickets there for a long time in an appropriate and helpful manner, but ultimately those seats are simply rented from the club, and seating re-organisations happen all the time. This isn't telling a couple of hundred season ticket holders to f*** off because the HF want to take your seats - it's creating a much larger, more general singing section, for which some moving is required.

Glad it is resolved. Given when the negotiations started perhaps with a more proactive approach from the club this could already be sorted out for some point this season, but the past is the past.

I wonder if this will have an impact in some way this season, based on recent games at Selhurst I think the only way is up, noise wise?

We humans do get very attached to our beloved footy teams and when given the same seat year after year it does become something you want to protect, and not give up.

But the reality is you do not own those seats, the club does. I hope most of all that Parish and co get their thinking caps on and really compensate the affected people properly.

Time heals all, as someone once said.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

I would be in a steaming bate with nostrils flared akin to two open drain pipes if I had been a season ticket holder in Block E for many a year and had to relocate to accommodate the HF who incidentally flout the ground regulations by their persistant standing.Blocks either side are going to be affected by the HF standing and blocking their view.

I suspect there will be polarised views regarding the recent club announcement with the smorgasbord of opinions attracting some ordure and being the catalyst for strident debate.

I think that you'll find that most of the fans showing their support by signing petitions were either fictitious or Brighton fans trying to wind us up

Only if you take the view that it's 'your' seat. I don't see why the club aren't entitled to designate seats as part of a singing section in the interest of the atmosphere - with people already there free to stay if they want to, of course.

Should the club not be able to change the way the stadium is organised?

Really great news, I'm delighted. Well done CPFC. What a difference this will make. As per the club statement, there has been overwhelming support for this, the clubs needs to cater for the majority.

No one is celebrating fans getting kicked out their seat, hopefully they are all well compensated for this - free season ticket next year and first choice seats once the new stand has been built is fair. People are celebrating how exciting it will be once its up and running.

I for one will be back for my first season ticket in a while if I can get in the Holmesdale.

No 100 'fans' in black do.

Not exclusive to them tho is it ? It's a singing section for 400 people. Just a 100 of them will be the hf who funnily enough want to sing. Like me moaning about a disabled section taking priority over me.

Neither do the HF!

This has been the most ridiculous argument from day one and a quite pathetic attempt to demonise other Palace fans who sit in Block E.

If you wanna force people out of their seats that’s fine. But for FFS, own your position instead of trying to act like them “not owning their seats” makes this somehow justifiable.

It’s absoltely ridiculous to think that other Palace fans are forced to sit elsewhere because a group has been deemed to support the club better.

It’s a kick in the teeth to long-serving Palace fans who I’m sure include those who could quite easily make a case for contributing more in support than the HF.

And this isn’t coming from the position of some bigoted, bitter and twisted old git. This is coming from a 24 year old who’s just being honest about what’s right and proper in this situation.

Forcing fans to move for other fans isn’t and never will be. How anyone could disagree is beyond me.
