That's really silly. As silly as saying the BNP could swell their ranks well with some of the right wing apologists/xenophobes/politics of hate mob on HOL.

Politics of envy? So the 'lefties' are envious of a political party where xenophobia is endemic?

There were 40 people protesting including a breastfeeding woman and some pensioners. Hardly a hate mob is it?

Vote UKIP, vote Nigel Farage, a multi-millionaire, with off-shore account(s), who takes all the euros the EU give him plus expenses plus the jollies but can't be arsed to vote against the illegal ivory trade or strengthening child abuse measures.

I'm thinking that if you show anything like the same commitment to teaching the nation's children that you do to proselytising and stirring on HOL then we are all truly blessed.

The EU project is a disaster waiting to happen....again......UKIP are the only show in town for the anti EU or immigration vote.

I'm not too chuffed with the UK being the magnet for the southern or eastern EU's failed children......The only real reason for that is we didn't take the Euro on....Despite most of the left screaming for it (the one big thing I can thank Brown for).

Germany loves free movement....can't get enough...Let us control how many we take in and they can continue opening their door and enjoy the riots and increasing social discord.....We already have too much.....And too little housing or infrastructure for them.

Whoever comes in next will cut budgets....Yet we continue to have hundreds of thousands net coming in.

Bloody madness and a criminal treatment of the British working classes.

Ummm, don't let your standard blanket stereotyping of "the left wing" in the labour party (the real "left wing" as opposed to the simplistic definition adopted by you )get in the way of reality. Most opposition within the Labour Party to the EU and separate to that to the euro has come from the very left-wing of the party you suggest Brown won out against on that issue.

I do get the feeling your actual deep down key issue is your dislike of immigrants because of "non-English" ethnicity full stop, whether because of the EU or from prior waves of immigration in the past 50 completely unrelated to the EU.Must be my irrational, misguided "lefty/hippie" thought processes

and should you want to bang on about it being completely unconnected to that but rather concerns about infrastructure etc, do look at total UK migration patterns.

As for "failed children",another of your diversions I fear from your real underlying antipathy,BBC News website reported last November that:

"The report (by academics at University College,London University)also showed that in 2011, 32% of recent EEA immigrants and 43% of non-EEA immigrants had university degrees, compared with 21% of the British adult population."

Rather obviously I'm referring to the main left wing parties in the UK....ie the Labour party (the party that most people describing themselves as left wing still vote for) and the Liberal democrats.

There have always been a few on the hard left who were anti the massive control freakery that is the EU....A rare commonality that they shared with most of the right.

Of course there are always nay-sayers in every party as any successful one is always a board church. But it is churlish and pedantic to complain about a general description that is obviously an accurate representation of the left as a whole at that time.

You moaning about this is like saying that because Kenneth Clarke and a small minority in the Tories were pro Euro that we can shouldn't describe the Tories as an anti Euro party of the time.

You must be bored.
