Zaha only assisted 3 times last season. If Eze doesn’t do better than that I will be very surprised. Let’s see hey.

I found that he assisted 5 and scored 4. And was very unlucky not to get on the scoring sheet a few times, especially in those last matches with big teams.

Assisted 10 and scored 10 the season before.

5 with 9 the one before that.

11 with 7 the one before.

Pretty much similar playing time each season, around 3.000 minutes.

No way Eberechi can replace him in the next 2-3 years. Eberechi is also much shorter, he is a different type of player. Zaha is pretty much top quality in the Premier League. I could see some players who can replace him, but it's hard.

I made this 1 and half years ago, so some of those names still stand. Others have gotten too old (Alessandrini, Gervinho) or injured (Thauvin, Iago Falque, Claesson) while others are simply too expensive (Oyarzabal, Thorgan Hazard, Lukebakio, Rashica, Joaquin Correa, Politano, Ocampos, Horta, Otavio). If one seeks a like-for-like Zaha replacement, then no left footers either. That would leave only a few players, thought others have surfaced since then.

Out of these 30 players I named, only 5 have disappointed in the last year: Nakajima, Lamela, Fraser, Politano and Pione Sisto. 22 (without the aforementioned injured ones) played extremely well.

Everton have a rich owner and FFP apparently doesn't apply to them

Everton have spent 535 million in the past 5 years, making them the 4th highest spenders in the premiership. Moshiri is a wealthy owner, but there are suggestions he is also backed by usmanov.

When you can afford the best accountants in the world, also lawyers in Man City’s case, FFP is nothing but a loop hole for them to overcome.

Well the official stats are that last year Zaha assisted 3 and scored 3 in the Prem...so no offence meant but I’m going to go with the official stats and not yours.

And the point being made is not that Eze can replace Zaha in one season but that we stayed up last year with the version of Wilf that I think Eze can easily replicate. That’s the main point being made here...Zaha was poor and we stayed up so can Eze perform as well as those reported stats? I think he can.

I thought Allen was 25m Doucoure 25m and Rodriguez 20m

So that’s 70m on my calculator

Just looked 21m, 20m and 12m so yeah maybe less than what I’d thought. Rodriguez must be on some hefty wages mind.

I know it’s not about Everton but somehow I feel whoever they buy, they will still be a bit s***.

In my country they are quoting this tweet that Palace is supposed to split 53 million between Ismaila Sarr and Coman. Probably 38 and 15 or something like that.

[Link]

Surely those 53 million could only be available with a big sell, right?

Saw that Everton are looking to offload Bolaise. Maybe we should buy him for 1 pound. Probably the best piece of business ever selling him for 25mm. Loved the guy (met him at Heathrow once, very nice chap), but couldn't defend for his life and never worth that amount. But those seasons with him and Wilf terrorizing defenders were great.
