At last......the club has arrived at the correct decision. If only the principle of the statement had been accepted before the start of the season..... we would still have the HF singing, the great atmosphere and we would have easily beaten Newcastle! Ok...Maybe. However, better late than never. We need the HF! Would also have saved 170 pages on the message board. I am delighted for the HF and all Palace supporters.....hope that the way can be found for the HF to improve the rest of season atmosphere. Top half finish, Wilf and Roy player and manager of the season!

After so many fans showed their support for the idea this is a victory for the fans, will take our support to the next level. See so many people say they want to be a part of it up the HF, up the Palace

I would be willing to give up my 2 tickets in Block B for Spurs game in order to get the HF back in action. Traveling from the states and want to experience the Selhurst atmosphere as I have come to expect. I know there is not much I can do but willing to do anything to help out.

The club will last longer than someone sits in their seat for 60 years and this is an important piece our armour. seems the HF do,so 60 years being a supporter means jack to you, you are a waste of space, how does being a season ticket holder for 60 years doesnt help the club revenue, its money that takes the club forward

HF are thinking: thank f*** we finally got the seats we wanted and can stop having to bleedin' sing all game from now on. I still argue that automatic seat renewal is by far the biggest cause of s*** atmospheres at English PL football. If ever the HF get bored, old, tired but they're all stuck in the same spot... that's why terraces and away games were/are such a big help. You're by a bunch of strangers for 90 minutes so who cares if you're getting carried away with singing and shouting. it's just daft to imagine doing that if you know you'll be by the same folks week in, week out...a mate of mine never ever sings and he'd think me deranged if I sang as much as I'd like. I hope this pushes the club in the right direction atmosphere wise and that anyone who gets disrupted gets disrupted as little as possible.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

Those directly involved don't own the club and also don't own a certain part of the ground. No 100 'fans' in black do.

Top half finish, Wilf and Roy player and manager of the season! What a load of nonsense to suggest we would have beaten Newcastle with the HF there. Perhaps you could tell me how we have won four away games and scored seven goals WITHOUT the HF being there?? It's an insult to the highly paid and professional players to insinuate that they can't win a game without 100 or so chanting, flag waving and drum bashers in the ground.

Atmosphere undoubtedly plays its part. But the actual reality is that the atmosphere at Selhurst has been going downhill every year since promotion. It’s pretty much become a myth, one that we desperately cling onto in the desire of a sense of identity as a club. Moving them behind the goal really is not gonna have the effect people think it will in the long term. The problems they’re having generating a proper atmosphere in Block B should be a pretty broad hint of that.
We're the Arthur over ere! |
