Totally disagree with this comment. Mid-table Prem stability allows us to pay Wilf £130k a week on a long contract. He'll stay unless someone can pony up at least that plus a hefty transfer fee. A significant barrier to someone else coming in for him. Can only hope you’re right. In Wilf’s case there’s also the hope that the esteem he’s held in at Selhurst and his experience at Man U will keep him here.

Edited by tazzer (12 May 2019 10.43pm) This does not rule out a top European club but I'm guessing most clubs over there will look at his poor experience out of his comfort zone at Manchester and lack of big-game experience and give a pass Replacing Hazard as the focal point of the attack at Chelsea was always the most likely destination. Similar sublime dribbling skills and their ability to pick the right pass are comparable. Hazard the better finisher but Zaha can play all across the front line. But the transfer ban has scuppered that TBH it is a shame we dont have a Kante and Vardy as we could do a Leicester - at least as far as challenging for 4th spot next year. Man Utd look finished, Arsenal have lots of holes and Chelsea either wont have Hazard or he will be disgruntled

If spurs wanted him and only wanted to pay 70k wha kind of player would not look at the bigger picture and go for it? It's usually agents in my mind that push for bigger wages as they get a cut??

If we were non-league, Zaha would have played half a season for us at best. As it is, he may play more than half his career for us. every PL club has sold its best player at some point. unless you are the biggest, wealthiest club in the world, it happens
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

If he carried on and pinged it top bin I’m fairly confident I would have been stretchered out.
