One reason Dyche is a good fit, is that without him Burnley have to be one of the favourites to go down. Their squad is crap and the Owners will try and get someone expansive in to try and get away from the crap they have been playing recently.

Well, if we keep finishing say 12th - 15th in the PL, one would suspect that not only would the club be happy with the manager, he might not be in demand by 'Bigger' clubs. Finish 8th or 9th then this could be a different story with other clubs possibly looking to lure our manager away.

Is he progressive though? the football they play is terrible. Originally posted by fozzaisere
First choice would be pellegrino but I think Dyche has done very well with Burnley. He has turned turf moor into a fortress with very minimal resources. Recruited well and improved most of the squad all that team under him have improved - look at Keane and Heaton now top quality english players. I think we have the chance to take a young progressive english manager who is improving year on year. Whats not to like.

Predict we get the Argentine fizzpop, he proves outstanding, but turns out to be gay and quits over The Gareth Thomas thread. Okay yes. I am pissed. This is not serious.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

It's about assessing what you have and getting the best out of it. We are dreaming if we think that any manager will completely change our style of play, currently we are setup to play fast counter attacking football due to the makeup of the squad. What pardew tried to do is case in point - moved everything to a different style far too quickly then before long we want our old players back or similar. Dyche has done very well with what he has been given at Burnley (which isn't alot) i fully believe with more resources and better talent he can play far more attractive football. That being said pellegrino is still my first choice as Alaves have been brilliant this year on an abs shoestring.

Dyche would be a fantastic appointment. Burnley barely gave us a sniff a few weeks ago and nearly won the game in the first ten minutes. Lots of the chat on here is very Charlton "next level" and incredibly naive.
