'Fromage not Farage' This argument is so so ridiculous. What is 'legal' here is completely arbitrary. The system is rigged for the establishment and favoured the remain campaign. The remain campaign was allowed to overspend the leave campaign by a significant amount. The government used tax payers money to advise people to stay in the EU....effectively campaigning for remain. The establishment tried to 'fix' the referendum with money, the government and media coverage......but just like with Trump in America the vastly underrepresented underdogs won......and just like in America the establishment want to shout 'illegal' because they are bad losers.

It's a struggle debating points that are untrue.

It is not an argument just a statement of the facts. Why does anybody want to deliver on, at the pain of death, a bent referendum. That is bound to be the verdict of historians when they look back objectively.

You just ignore the points and carry on in your merry way.

Edited by dannyboy1978 (11 Apr 2019 5.16pm) Edited by dannyboy1978 (11 Apr 2019 5.17pm) I remember someone telling me as a youth that the end result of socialism was communism....I think Marx said something along those lines. I never thought though that I'd be watching a Tory party enacting intersectional and feminist policies.....and Tory remain politicians are way over represented over leave ones in the parliament for how their areas voted. How the so called stewards in the conservative party allowed that.....they are crapping over their own grass roots. Edited by Stirlingsays (11 Apr 2019 6.12pm)

The government are duty bound to finance elements that they feel are in the best interest of the country.

I am a staunch remainer but largely agree with this though when I see terms like establishment I smell conspiracy theory. Like there was ever a unified collective of men in dark suits plotting remain. That said it is fair to say that almost half the electorate voted remain including most of commerce manufacturing finance and the city as well as most of the government. Were they all wrong?

It doesn't matter, it was a people's vote not a buisness vote. Buisness loved cheap Labour, they would pay even less if they could and that's why it's a people's vote, For the people. The very people who's wages are going up because cheap labour is slowing. Edited by dannyboy1978 (11 Apr 2019 9.41pm) Edited by dannyboy1978 (11 Apr 2019 9.43pm)
