Please excuse me butting in but as I have 2 members of my extended family with gender dysphoria I can assure you that it isn't a simple, straight forward question. Not so long ago, I also thought it was and couldn't see what the fuss was about. Having heard the experiences at first hand, I changed my mind. It's complicated.

Wisbech there will always be individuals with issues that don't fit the mainstream view of life. However in this case on Women's Day the question was quite simple for a politician who supposedly champions women's rights. He couldn't answer it neither could any of his colleagues or rather they chose not to answer a valid question on such a significant day.

My own non scientific view is that until a biological male has completed a transition including surgery they are still a male. Post op I am prepared to concede they are female with the possible exception of elite sport.

But in any case I am not a politician celebrating Women's Day they must have none this question would come up.

You accept post op female ? I wouldn"t go that far, more a male thats had an operation that identifies him/herself as female- don"t let the CONservative wokey kokeys brainwash you !

I"m not entertaining sir Keir HK, he should have said a mans a man and a womans a woman- and should have welcomed his party members standing on a picket line! He"s a useless cnut, but again- with the even worse bunch in for the past 12 years I would give him or anybody else the job to get rid of them- imagine lizzy as our new leader! The CONservatives are going big on woke as people with a gullable nature fall for it and drink it in, they are more worried about a trans man/lady getting two women pregnant in an american prison- than the fact thousands could die due to 12 years of incompetence by bungle and his useless cabinet- die of cold and hunger/malnourishment in little britain 2022! They are using woke nonsense as something for you to rally behind, and you are! I call a man a man, a woman a woman, and those that want to be a woman although are a man i dont mind calling them by a female name if i worked with one, but knowing they are really a man, but have issues that i wouldnt want myself! So just to say for everyone once more, just because im not falling for this CONservative lunacy, the thickest bunch ever to run the country, doesn"t mean I support Sir Keir, he"s nearly as useless as the current government- although probably a bit more honest, but a cnut all the same- just not as big a cnut as the members of cabinet !

When the "mainstream view of life" is, understandably, ignorant of the emotions involved, having never experienced them, it isn't a question of those who are experiencing them "fitting in".

I didn't see the programme or hear the question, but I can quite understand any politician trying to swerve answering, even if they do understand the issues better than most. Your answer is going to be misunderstood by many and misrepresented by the press as it necessarily is complicated.
