I hope Parish is not basing any decision on that petition, as it's been signed by more Brighton (and other club's supporters) than Palace fans. Also, I hope that he knows what he's doing with respect to ground safety regulations; a closed Holmesdale Lower would be an ill-wind that blows no one any good. The club could have indeed fcked this up badly. But it's not like they have form for bolloxing stuff up, is it ?
I disengage, I turn the page. |

Those directly involved don't own the club and also don't own a certain part of the ground.

So does this mean that they'll be returning to their usual spot for the rest of this season? I think they should make some sort of effort to do this. However presumably they are all in other areas and as DRoss has said tickets in Block B already allocated.

Well he has weighed up the options and views, hence why he has made this decision. Unfortunately, you can not please everyone and people have been for and against the move on this forum. But at the end of the day, he is he chairman and it’s his decision. I’m confident Steve knows all about the ground regulations etc...otherwise we would have been fined years ago for any breaches. Have you heard the noise from the lower holmesdale from our 3 home games. It might aswell be closed

Yes even if it is completely open you’ll need to stand and stand a constant drum and people bobbing up and down, maybe in front of you, lager thrown in the air etc. people standing. Not yet legal, and not in seated areas Yes, it might be great. But the FA could also tear the club a new one. Let's see how it goes

Loads at Arsenal stand and you watch most of all the spurs kop end stand. What about every away section, everywhere? It’s happening and good. I could sense ‘Relegation? So be it’ fans voicing their disgust and that’ll only get louder if we steered ourselves downwards. Hopefully Parish will do everything he can to not see that happen.

You own the ticket, for a season. The club will last longer than someone sits in their seat for 60 years and this is an important piece our armour.

I personally disagree with the decision before proper consultation and just accepting “displacement” as a necessary inevitability. However, I will still support Palace in the same way as I always did, regardless of how the board acts. See how that works?
