I can't recall recently such such blatant interference, the jury decide on what they have heard, not on a judges personal interpretation of events. We all know that if this boy was black he would have been found guilty. To think you can get away with murdering 2 people because you are a white boy.
I haven't seen any of the trial but assuming you are correct surely the DA will appeal? If not why not.

Seconded. I don't think he should have been there but that aside I don't see anyone on here celebrating him killing 2 people even if it was justified according to the jury. I refer you to Matov’s posts.

I know three posters on here who would celebrate the ex EDL leader being killed. Strange really how some are so self indulgently righteous at certain times and over certain incidences and situations.

Absolute nonsense and extremely high levels of whataboutery. We all remember your posts on George Floyd so not sure why you’re trying to take this tact here.

The smaller Republican media also do the same. However, what is of full note here is that only one side in this situation wants to restrict free speech.....to change the intent of the first amendment....All in service of their own opinions. All while they hypocritically fully stretch its boundaries every day. Edited by Stirlingsays (20 Nov 2021 10.17am)
No-one at all wants to restrict free speech. However, if any freedom is used irresponsibly, then sometimes restrictions become necessary. As I have said many times, the idea of anything being totally unrestricted in a democracy is a myth. It's an argument for anarchy. So restricting hate speech, and such things as incentives to commit crimes, are perfectly acceptable. Only the bonkers cannot understand that. Now to watch the game!
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

More pure wafflery. No one needs to protect inoffensive speech....Stalin was never concerned by inoffensive speech....oh and hate speech is a modern term dreamt up by leftists to....in more cases than not take people's liberties away and stop criticism of their stances. Waffling on about speech restrictions is actually a very dangerous position. There was nothing wrong with the laws we had in this country for centuries.....Blair started the restrictions. We now live in a country that is less free than the one I grew up in....and more pointedly the one you grew up in as you are apparently over 25 years older.
