This was the quote I found:- "Facebook is removing a host of prominent far-right and/or anti-Semitic political figures like Louis Farrakhan, Alex Jones, Milo Yiannopoulos, Paul Joseph Watson, and Laura Loomer from both Facebook and Instagram, the company announced Thursday." That was from BuzzFeed whose article went on to say this "We've always banned individuals or organizations that promote or engage in violence and hate, regardless of ideology," a Facebook spokesperson told BuzzFeed News. "The process for evaluating potential violators is extensive and it is what led us to our decision to remove these accounts today." So sure BuzzFeed is well known for not being very sympathetic to right wing opinion but has kept tabs on these individuals much more than I have so if they call them far right I tend to believe them. However, that's really unimportant. What matters is that FB say they have broken their rules and, whatever their ideology might be, that gets them banned. I have no more detail than you as to why the newspaper removed it's story. I can only assume that they discovered it was not factual in some way. I don't though regard the Daily Star as a serious newspaper but much more a gossip and scandal rag, to which I pay no attention whatsoever. Ah Buzzfeed and the Daily Star, the bastions of quality journalism! Amongst a lot of waffle, essentially your analysis is: "He's far right because Buzzfeed and Facebook said so." Bravo.

That is, of course, true but the problem is, I suspect, that most, if not all, of that which you and others regard as "hard facts and undeniable realities" are no such thing but are actually just opinions which match your prejudices. Twain's famous quote comes to mind:- “It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so.”

No it isn't my analysis, it is yours! Mine is that labels don't matter. Actions matter. If FB, or any or all of the social media platforms, banned these individuals then they did so solely because they broke their rules and not for any other reason. Including what convenient label BuzzFeed give them to colour their stories.

As always, you're bleeding clueless.

Actions matter, yet you cannot give an example of his 'far right actions'. Your view is whatever Buzzfeed and Facebook says. It further proves you are just an NPC.

Of course some things are factual. No-one can deny that but what is tricky is proving they are. When you scratch below so many surfaces all that's often left are opinions. I was 75 yesterday. It's a fact because I have my birth certificate. Hang on though. Although I was there I have no recollection so am relying on my parents and the registrar to have got it right. It was war time. Things got mixed up and delayed. Is it a fact? Probably but not certainly. I presume that you think it's those who disagree with you who are "brainwashed". Whilst I think the precise opposite. Now is either of them a fact?

It further proves you are just an NPC. I don't care what label, if any, is attached to him. Just as I don't care whether criminals are Christians or Muslims. I don't have to give "an example of his far right actions". He wasn't banned from FB for being "far right". He was banned for breaking their rules, and that's the evidence I have provided. My view is that if FB say they have banned him for breaking their rules then that's the reason. It's their rules and their statement. BuzzFeed just reported it, with a little bit of colour to appeal to their readership. You being obsessed with labels, and ignoring the substance, further proves you really don't have a clue what actually happened. You want it to be a left wing conspiracy to silence certain people you might have some sympathy for, so in your mind it is.

Good luck blowing out all of those candles if you haven't already.

As the video cannot now be viewed I cannot even offer an opinion but there must have been more than that for the ban to be made. What you suggest seems perfectly acceptable. If you have a transcript please post it and we can try to analyse. I was replying to your generalisation.

A belated Happy Birthday. Get the beers in. Thanks for that. I run an AirBnb and my guests brought in some local cider last evening to celebrate, together with the cake which was made, and delivered, by one of my wife's best friends as she is abroad. A piece of totally unrelated info but the best friend's husband is a Premier League Assistant referee, who I saw running the line at a Palace game a few months ago, before I knew who she was married to! He could have got me into the Director's box!!!!

Happy birthday for yesterday, Wiz. You have a lot of energy for 75. Good luck blowing out all of those candles if you haven't already. Thanks. I am planning that this is just the half way point. I want to see our team win the Champions League. They have made it from the 3rd Div south to where they are now since I started going so why not?
