In December 2019 after the somewhat fortunate 1-1 draw at home to Brighton.

"We got the tactics wrong. We were determined to take the game to them and play on the front foot but it didn't work because they played around us and we didn't win the ball back as we thought we might,"

Wow - how long did it take to dig that one out? I notice it's "we" and not "I".

It wouldnt!unless we bring in a few new players . I think he would be very quick to jump ship. anyway all ifs and maybes.

Not long. I remember it coming up at the time. We tried to press them and they took us apart without putting enough of their chances away. Maybe explains why we were so negative against them this season.

On a general level Roy has never given the impression of lacking humility and I don't understand why people hang on words from pointless banal interviews with the media.

Because they want Hodgson out and are not prepared to accept that there can be anything good in him. In other words they probably have a biased and negative mindset when it comes to anything Hodgson.

Well he resigned straight after the game which would suggest he felt some degree of responsibility.

I get that people are frustrated with the style of play, some of the performances etc. My personal gripe is that we don't cross the ball anywhere near enough or gamble in the opposition box.

However, the unhealthy obsession of a few and constant bulls***, twisting of facts, supposition and pathetic daily character assassination on here goes beyond taking taking the piss.

Well Rachid X 3 - it is not taking the piss. It's criticism. Simple as that.

The team is going nowhere. That seems your preference. OK fine but it's not mine.
