A decent amount of DFLA were black on Saturday they had no issues it's not about colour it never has been its politics and liberals use colour and emotion to create the world as they see it those who are BAME who are not fooled by the bulls*** walk with us.

Absolutely maple. No one I have read on here anyway has anything but a want to reduce prejudice and if it can be done without positive discrimination then go for it. Why is it a protest and not a conversation. Maybe you should be asking the 'hard left whites' why they are so interested. If this was blacks only then I am not at all suspicious of their wants and needs. Just look at how the list has increased of demands. Outside of a fair crack and maybe a bit of possible although very very tiny I would guess, racism from the police what is going down that radical road going to do. I did ask when you last had to intervene personally and you didnt answer. Why didnt you. Your post is fine except the last line which is just plain wrong. I didn't see your point about last intervening, about a month ago in a selection process

That doesn't mean he though white people had no place in the movement as far as I can see. If that was true then you wouldn't have posted this at me. 'Really? I would like to see your proof.' Then when I show you that direct proof that he had more contempt for white liberals than anyone else.....Even when the man directly said it. You want to pretend you were making a different point. I contend that you don't do your reputation for disingenuous commentary any good with this. As for Malcom X being ok with whites in 'the movement', which for him would mean the 'nation of Islam', I find that difficult to believe. If you know differently to that I'd like to know. For most of his life X opposed integration and was a separatist. Malcolm X is recorded as celebrating the deaths of an air crash because the victims were all whites. Personally, I very much doubt he'd welcome the likes of you.

A majority will vote against positive discrimination everywhere anyway, for now. Edited by Rudi Hedman (17 Jun 2020 2.37pm)

Frankly I know little about them but I doubt they are the liberals of which Malcolm spoke.

Ignoring that projection and moving on to your Antifa point, I think it's fair to contextualize X to within his time....you know, the opposite to how the far left do with statues. However, what we can directly say about X, is that he held white liberals to be the worst enemies of blacks. Still, as Antifa aren't 'white liberals' I think it's fair to leave that. Let me explain in plain language. Which part do you want me to cut out and examine? I say that if you only sit on your hands and simply call out racism when you see it live then you are indeed complicit. It exists but for many of us not under our noses much of the time. Do you stand by in such circumstances? Maybe in the same way as Rwanda or the Rohingyas, none of our business eh? Edited by Mapletree (17 Jun 2020 4.39pm)
