Or he could’ve upped his game because it’s vs a big club (even if he ‘supported’ them) and celebrated he’d done the business. I fully believe he wants to test himself in the champions league and why not. The question is will he get the chance to and was that interview in the paper to put pressure on Parish lowering the asking price?

After the game, Zaha said: "To be honest the only thing I'm thinking about is Palace. I'm a Palace player right now and I don't know what the future holds for me.

"I'm here at Palace, working for Palace. I'm not being distracted by anything else."

Nothing is certain. If a bid comes in and Zaha wants to go to that club, because zaha will know as soon as Parish knows, then he could be off.

But a bid has to come in and meet Parish’s valuation, unless Zaha thinks Parish should accept it or the interviews are to get Parish to accept one that isn’t in the high side of whatever Parish desires, say £80 mil.

To idiots blaming Roy if Wilf wants to leave. We would have been relegated without Roy so he would have left last summer our this summer anyway.

To all normal, wait and see what happens.

£80m was the figure mentioned the other day. As has been said other clubs fans would probably not be as forgiving and he seems like the kind of player who needs an arm around him; could be that Roy is key in keeping him as he is that sort of manager.
It’s a strange situation that theoretically we could use the money to buy three £25m players and still not be sure they’d be an improvement on Wilf offers.

Wilf deserves another opportunity at a big club and if an offer comes in for him that the club deem acceptable then we will all thank him for his service and he’ll move on. Comments saying he has been poor this season are unfair. He’s having to adapt to the extra attention he gets from the opposition and as today showed he is unplayable at times.

A like for like replacement will be nigh on impossible even with the money we receive so i’d Like to see us be a little bit more creative in terms of perhaps accepting a cash plus players offer. Nelson on loan from Arsenal for 1 or 2 seasons plus cash to then spend on a couple of players who between them can try and plug the hole left by Wilf departing.

At least, even if Zaha wants out, he's not playing like someone who wants to leave. Unlike certain other potential "star" players (*cough*Meyer*cough*) who don't put in a shift coz it's either beneath them or they're incapable. Zaha at least cares about Palace and wants to do his best for them before he goes. And I can appreciate that. Would rather sell abroad e.g. Dortmund though cos I would not like us to have to face him.

ZAha was interviewed along with Benteke after the game.
He was asked about his future and said he was just concentrating on Palace for now and not thinking about the future.
I get the impression he is not pushing to leave but would go if the right offer comes in.
That would likely have to be a Champions League club and the offer would have to be acceptable to Palace.
At least two hurdles to overcome then.
He was very good yesterday but he does have his off days and I do wonder if he would be afforded the same patience at Champions League clubs who demand consistency and end product.
He clearly has the talent but that would be the question mark.

The only likely clubs in the UK would be Spurs or Arsenal and Spurs arent known for throwing money around and if they are looking to bring back Bale then thats the end of any chance of buying Wilfred.
He would be a bench player for City and Utd is obviously a no and also people have pointed out Chelsea are on a ban, and anyway would he displace Willian and Pedro?
He could maybe think Arsenal are the team of his dreams and Champions League glory and they could pay the wages. Their fans don't seem to like him much...
I can see him staying.

PSG is the only club that would pay £80m for him. Although I don’t want him to go, let’s assume he does and Manure, for arguments sake, get £20m of that figure.

If we invest that £60m in a decent winger, striker and left back which you should be able to do for £20m, £30m and £10m respectively then that could (possibly) represent decent business.

I think PSG is realistically the only club we should sell him to.

It’s all if’s and but’s....

Based on yesterday’s performance against Arsenal, he was bang on song and had the opposition running around like headless chickens.

As long as he still wants to play for Palace, I’m happy, and if he wanted a challenge and move on,I would also be happy...

That’s a fair point but it doesn’t help with long term planning.
