I can't believe the pathetic excuses Remainers are using for a second referendum. It's all been said. They just want to reverse Brexit. There is only one way forward without a deal and that is to leave without one. If all parties want to avoid that, including the EU then they must make concessions. The Remainer Prime Minister needs to go now.

But it still would not be accepted, certainly by some of the posters on here Acceptance is a tall order for sure, I am simply talking about a pathway out of this s***show. The vote was basically 50/50 so of course a lot of people are going to be unhappy one way or the other.

F the EU. Not your usual well structured and reasoned offering here, Stirlingsays, but I get the sentiment. People do feel far more strongly about this than I ever imagined before the first referendum, that is for sure.

Come the end of the day, it might be the only way, and if certainly might be the only way which gives you a chance at still having a brexit of sorts. Feel free to cry betrayal etc, but I stand by my assertion that the 2016 brexit is an undeliverable high level concept, not something which has a clear path to implementation.

It is a sure way to an even s***tier situation. Time Remains and Business stopped acting like frightened sheep and accepted they must cut ties with Europe. It's the only way to get Europe to wake up. I know that a trading block has its advantages but it comes with a too heavier price.

Telling business and half the house of commons that they way out of this is for them to get behind a no deal brexit, which they guard against at any price, is not a way forward. The PM has sacked that off now finally, its dead in the water, it is not happening. Its just a way to a circular discussion. Its a bit like what has been happening in parliament for the last 6 months, if not 3 years. No situation could be s***tier than this, as no one knows what the hell is happening. If we are destined to leave the EU, then for the love of Christ we need to get it over with. If we are destined to stay now, due to a change in public opinion, then likewise.

Public opinion has been tested already and before everyone was deliberately put through all this nonsense.

Never thought I would be watching the House of Lords on a live stream. It like parliament except the extra years have rendered the jeers and cat calls as quite toothless.
