Your comments about Eze and Brewster baffle me. They have both completed seasons in the very competitive Championship and are young sought after prospects. I am baffled because you always give names of young players who have never played in England, as being the ideal signings for Palace. IMO there is no reason why Ayew will not replicate last seasons form

The bottom line for me is that we now have three grade A additions to the squad that did very well last year in Batshuayi, Eze and Ferguson, plus Bright Osayi-Samuel likely to join them. There are rumours of a young CB arriving too. The club is doing very well in making these recruitments, which we should celebrate

Apparently this chap is very accurate with his information. Seems to confirm Dazza was correct:

I know Carl - Always 100% with his information as it is usually direct from the club from what I gather.

Too many people on social media doubting both him and dazza over the last few weeks.

I think we will when there's a photo of them holding the shirt. Until then, we don't have Batshuayi and we generally look short with, once again, a staggering injury list.

How come this much vaunted FFP doesn't apply to Everton who are chucking money around like confetti for the second year running and if the above happens Brewster won't be a replacement for Zaha so we will need another winger and hopefully that won't be Osayi-Samual as he's nowhere near the same class.

Dazza said a couple of weeks ago that we were looking to buy a striker and not loan one so as we have just loaned a striker I assume that there is money left in the kitty for a major purchase.

It would be nice if someone from the club would explain in detail how FFP is affecting us as it's coming over as a bit of a handy excuse

especially as FFP has been deferred for 12 months.

I just wonder that if Batshuayi arrives then Wilf may just stay.
The other side of the coin is that he has just had enough and wants out regardless.
An interesting problem because at last we seem to be trying - on the face of it - to do the right thing at last.

Think it’s a case of having to. So much money involved in staying in the Prem. We saw at the end of last season that our aging Squad wasn’t up to it and relegation was a certainty with them this season. We needed to get younger better players in and it looks like we are going in the right direction. Still finding it hard to pick 3 teams that will be below us this season though even if we strengthen further? Not saying we are an awful team but more like every side outside the top 8 are good enough to stay up. I think it’s going to be a tight season ahead from 8th/9th to the bottom in my opinion.

Hardly a certainty.

Injuries could play a big part not only to us but to every other lower order club too and we have a pretty poor record for players staying fit, especially defenders

Burnley are making just about everyone look good at the moment. Four senior players released and they sign a back-up goalkeeper. They could still lose their star centre-back too. You have to feel for their supporters and Dyche, who if he keeps them up again is surely worthy of consideration once Roy finally retires.

If we get Bats then for me anything else is a bonus (ideally in the form of a new winger).

According to Twitter this morning that's who we're concentrating on but will switch for Bright Osayi-Samuel if it doesn't come off

Rumours regarding BOS are that QPR want him loaned back as he needs another year in the Championship, Well he is out of contract next summer I believe, so don’t buy him now, have an unwritten agreement he will join next summer and save ourselves £5m. QPR playing dangerous game.
What this does highlight is how difficult transfers are and why so many fail.
