If you look at Sterling he has got better by being in a team that plays on the front foot where he received plenty of chances each game to improve his finishing, etc. Wilf is lucky if he gets one chance to shoot per game and has 3 defenders on him every match. If teams did that and he was in Liverpool or Arsenal's setup then they would love it as they have plenty of other attacking players to enjoy the extra space. The Express (yeah, I know!) saying PSG have been scouting him. He speaks French so it's not that far out and he is certainly a flair player. Seems unlikely but if he does go I hope it is abroad. Does anyone know what Utd's sell-on fee is? I have heard rumours it could be as much as 40% but that sounds ridiculous i saw in the paper last week it was 25% , but then again that was the Sun .

Guaranteed, every year, just after Xmas we're fighting relegation & hearing daily 'Wilf's off' stories. Find it bizarre he's quoted as happy & sees his future here only to flip that opinion 7 days later ?

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle This post has been merged from a topic called 'Zaha wants out' by Midlands Eagle i have been quiet about this one up till now. but im after reading some of the some of the comments made by wilf and they are pretty disrespectful and he is making himself out to be the new ronaldo or messi. not trying to put the man down but there has been a lot of matches this season , lets just say he hasnt exactly set the world alight . in fact there was a few where he was nothing short of pants and i thought to myself i could have run more than him and im 53. dont get me wrong i dont believe this one bit , is there a video on the interveiw or are we just taking some worm reporters word for it .

The fact that makes it true for me is that he posed for photos with the journalist so we know that he definitely went out of his way to go and do the piece. Rather than just seeing some quotes printed that have been attributed to him.

Unlike certain other "star" players (*cough*Pogba*cough*) who let their heads drop once they're swayed by another team, Zaha at least cares about Palace and wants to do his best for them before he goes. And I can appreciate that. Would rather sell abroad e.g. Dortmund though cos I would not like us to have to face him.

He is at the club he loves and is idolised by the fans. He is the main man and plays every week, if he loses the ball or makes an error the fan will never get on his back because he has so much love in the bank. At a new club if he doesn't hit the ground running the fans will be on him like a shot and will not be patient with him.

Cannot blame him for wanting to win things with his skills, best place for him would be Man.City by a country mile.

Interesting timing as he's blocked himself from social media for 24 hours. Thanks for the memories, but he deserves a chance at a higher level. Perm players abstained from social media for 24 hours as a stand against racist online abuse!
