May's main policy is don't let the country fall apart and let's build a world focused Britain. Labour clearly have no grasp of business, no grasp of figures and are fuelled by a wealth hatred, despite some of hem living very privileged lives. How exactly?

Business will cease inward investment and leave Britain if Labour get elected because of the changes in corporation tax and the punitive tax changes netted out to senior personnel. Labours manifesto reeks of class war. Despite Emily Thornberry having the right to be called Lady Nugee, Jezza having a privileged upbringing and a significant number of Momentum being of good, middle class stock, they want to wreck havoc on the system that has done them so well.

Despite Emily Thornberry having the right to be called Lady Nugee, Jezza having a privileged upbringing and a significant number of Momentum being of good, middle class stock, they want to wreck havoc on the system that has done them so well. The costings have been released, I'm asking what makes you think they're so crazy? Why will businesses leave Britain because corporation tax is being risen by 2020 to a whopping 26%, lower than nearly all g20 countries? If that was the case why are they not all currently set up in Dublin which has substantially lower rates than England even now? You'll find a competent business person will not be too disheartened and seeing as most pay themselves in dividends, they will still be taxed significantly less than most working people. I also ask "how exactly" in response to the idea that Labour hates the wealthy? There's a big difference between "wealth hatred" and believing the current system can and should be fairer. I'm labour but firmly believe everyone should aspire for success and to be self sufficient. The problem with the tories is they starve the opportunity for many people to better themselves simply on the basis that they are not as privileged as someone else and then have you believe it's because they are lazier, less qualified or don't work as hard. You will have lazy benefit scroungers and filthy rich people regardless of the system. It's the blatant ignorance to acknowledge those at the bottom of society and the prioritisation of people simply because of their financial position that I and many others find disgusting. It's a fairer system that people are fighting for, I have never heard anyone mention the hating of the rich or successful, just that the system is currently rigged to favour the rich, which it clearly is. Also, you mention "despite the fact they have privileged lifestyles", I've never understood the argument that if you earn a certain amount it's impossible to genuinely care about those lower down in society. Why is that? Edited by Mstrobez (16 May 2017 5.07pm)

I think its fair that poorer people are relieved of the burden of paying for the financial crisis which had nothing to do with them and that corporations and the better placed assume this liability. Its not class war its social justice but more than that revenue has to come from the owners of money you cannot get blood out of a stone. How ridiculous cutting disability benefits as economic policy looks now.

You have lost all credibility on your pursuit of correcting 'ignorance' with that hackneyed comment. You are blind to reality and there is little point in engaging with you.

You are blind to reality and there is little point in engaging with you. Fairness and equality are concepts that we create of course. Human societies...hell any known collection of living interacting things has never been about fairness. Advantage the exploitation of advantage has always been the main menu item. Being fairer through the political system is a relatively recent development. I'm not criticizing that but personally I've always thought that the emergence and creation of technology has always been a far more effective bridge of fairness between those who have and those who have less...or bugger all. Hopefully soon enough technology will even solve starvation and death from illness/aging. Then we will truly will be buggered.....It will be Croydon everywhere.

The shadow chancellor couldn't correctly answer what the budget deficit is: Gives you faith that they have 'costed' their promises.
