Labour will spank the tories at the polls, the voters were going that way last time. Remain will stuff leave in a referendum too, people are sick of it. It is clinging to the wreckage to continue.

I believe you may have mentioned. And your point is? So has my mother, mates with Cameron and a fierce Remainer. The same as for the rest of us, there is no common approach on this issue. Despite being an ardent and active supporter of the Conservative Party, I am not someone who gives wholehearted support for every aspect concerning the party,I am quite willing to criticise the leader. There are some I have known over the years who will simply not find any fault at all and will openly express their support come-what-may. I recall that Kenneth Clarke, believing he was off-air saying that Theresa May was a bloody awkward woman and that he had worked with Margaret Thatcher - I understand what he means !

The Polling (Over 50 polls) has the Conservatives ahead but of course this is a fluid situation and as was witnessed at the last General Election and Referendum, the polls did not reflect the final outcome. The fact that Labour does not have a significant lead speaks volumes about Corbyn and his Marxist policies. Shouldn't we see what May and Corbyn come up with before dismissing it? I suspect that this is just a way for May to blame Labour for Brexit but I'm happy to be proved wrong. There is also no reason to believe that Europe will agree even if they do come up with a compromise. Remember that Brexit may mean Brexit but not necessarily the version that you wanted. Fair point but right now I am not in a forgiving or understand mind. I have no fixed view on Brexit beyond one simple thing that the UK controls its own affairs and makes it owns laws. If we can stay in a customs union and single market but still have control over immigration and be allowed to do own own trade deals etc. then fine but this is not on the table from the EU. As you say wait and see but I don't think it will be Brexit.

I really don't think most of the public cares about trade deals.
