Due to holidays today was my first visit to Selhurst post HF. Although at times the atmosphere was quite good it never sustained and large parts of the game was very quiet. The overall affect is the atmosphere is not as good and I just don’t see an upside to that. In my opinion the HF were very good for the club and I just can’t get my head round why some people don’t agree with that. I don’t know how this situation gets sorted but I really hope it can be. ^^^this.

So why didn't they get round a table instead of flouncing like spoilt children. They could easily have Simples. Agree with this. They miscalculated, which is good as they'll think twice about doing it again. Clearly based on the rumour mill they've now done just that (sit round the table) and come to a compromise..

this post as go round in circles again and again, yes the work the HF done was great ,why couldnt they have carried on,then getting all the supporters on there side, showing they have pride in support for the team, but they lost all credibility by going on strike, as a long time fan its so sad that they cant see whats going on between fans ,unless thats what they want, they need to start showing they support the team, not there egos, as anyone actually canvased E block, the HF could have done that before making a suggestion of moving, its not down to the club, it was the HF who made the bid on moving, so if they done the ground work first they may have know that a move, may not happen due to upsetting to many supporters in that block, you cant start treating them as a special case, means we cant start putting them on a pedestal, that can only divide support which is what it is doing, ONE TEAM ONE CLUB

Was chatting to my dad last night, a longtime season ticket holder in block H of the Holmesdale. He had no idea about any of this drama with the HF flouncing, and didn't think many people sat around him did either, certainly it had never come up in any Palace-related chat. Made me realise there's probably a whole section of fans that are blissfully unaware of this whole pathetic situation and in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter a much as a lot of people think. I sit in Block L in the Upper Holmesdale - above where the HF usually stand. Everyone I've spoken to sitting nearby miss the noise and passion of the HF and want them back asap. Without them the atmosphere is flat and now it's more that the players are rousing the crowd rather than the other way around. I've supported Palace since 1976 and been a season ticket holder for most of that time. The atmosphere in the ground since the HF came on the scene has never been better in my opinion. I really hope this issue can be resolved asap. It's not only fans who miss this vibrant atmosphere - read Garth Crooks' blog on the BBC website today [Link] - scroll right down to the end. Btw - we haven't scored a goal at home since the HF disappeared - maybe the players are affected more than we might think - Wayne Hennessy remarked about this in an interview on the CPFC website.

Yep I'm sure the HF not being there contributed t sakho missing an open goal from 4 yards....

So Sakho missed a point blank header because the HF weren't there - yea right.

We know nobody has any right to their seat, but consultation is needed because it would be a s**t move by the club to just kick longstanding fans out of their seats, and would upset an awful lot of fans, not just those sitting there. As other people have said as well, the right time for the HF to move would have
