As for taking your advice on what is sensible to believe Tux......I'll respectfully decline.

The US takes about 16.5% of GDP in taxes. That means that for every $6 the economy produces, $1 goes to the government. But that works in reverse as well. For every $1 the government loses in tax revenue because of the cut, the economy must produce an additional $6 just to keep tax receipts steady.
IT......'AINT........HAPPENING!

With all due respect, the only thing in decline bud is the blinkered crap that you continually post. It helps nobody here.
You're an educated fella but there's so much more to learn. Take the time to learn.

The reduction in taxes has seen an upsurge in business expansion and hence jobs.

More jobs more taxes, higher GDP......which is currently at 4.2.

Are you advocating that Trump tries to reduce the US deficit with austerity budgets?.....ensuring he loses in 2020....that would be smart wouldn't it.

Trump has to grow the economy and this is his method.

Instead of you implying that you know better, state how the US economy should be run.

Trump is trying to BREAK the system bud, not grow it. His battle, as everyones should be, is to break The (unconstitutional in this case) Federal Reserve and those who control the Central Banking system that has screwed us all for decades.
He's fighting the 'Deep State', the biggest players on the planet. This is one hell of a task but hopefully one that he'll win.
Interesting times ahead...............?

It is also nonsense as Obama had to deal with the financial crash and brought the USA through and their economy recovered well with him and most importantly many not so well off Americans benefited in their lives.

good old obama eh.
You do know that under his watch the national debt of the USA virtually doubled from 9 trillion to approx 16 trillion dollars.
Im not surprised the americans were better off with that share out.
This is exactly the reason that the tories implimented the austerity package they did and are still doing. Imagine we all were richer but the debt doubled for the country.
Bit like what labour did when they exited stage left.(pun)

I think that's a valid excuse for his first term......but he had two.

As for who benefited......Well, the Chinese and Mexico certainly.

Trump is certainly improving trade deals and has far better figures on manufacturing and jobs than Obama could have dreamed of.
