On the balance of probabilities, neither of these is particularly likely. A Corbyn government having policies broadly in line with how he's historically voted, distinctly more likely. May's main policy seems to be strong and stable fox hunting. May's main policy is don't let the country fall apart and let's build a world focused Britain. Labour clearly have no grasp of business, no grasp of figures and are fuelled by a wealth hatred, despite some of hem living very privileged lives.

Obviously I am stating that it would be silly to elect someone who you knew that...given a situation of great peril for the country....You would have to remove to ensure that any nuclear counter action was a possible risk for the enemy. And this is saying that the time frames made this kind of action even possible.....Which it most probably wouldn't.

We differ quite dramatically on how important this issue is. The security of the country is just about as important as it gets. However, I get it that an 'internationalist' just wouldn't see it this way. These threat situations can come about very quickly. The processes you are talking about are not on the same scale. Besides you just don't elect someone who you knowingly would later have to remove.....It's incoherent. Edited by Stirlingsays (16 May 2017 3.40pm) With Trident. It's in the manifesto, if he tries to do anything different it would be voted down anyway. Corbyn wouldn't want to risk a vote of no confidence. He's got pressure from one or two unions as well...That's my thoughts anyway. With the big red button question, Corbyn has said he wouldn't 'first strike', Theresa May seemed to take delight in having the power to massacre millions. Make of that what you will.

If the manifesto had a blue front cover I wonder how many people would have a different opinion of it.
