It will be the EU that will decide what comes next.

It would appear there are three broad options available to the EU :

First, refuse any extension beyond that already granted, i.e: 12th April – this would probably force a No Deal and this will be unpalatable to the UK as well as member states.

Second, allow only a short extension until, say, 22nd May while ruling out further extension.

Third, offer a long extension, with various possible conditions.

Yes Pussay you are correct (I hear it happens occasionally) because Parliament who took control of the process is no better at it than Mrs May.

As I said in my post I think the next meaningful move will be from the EU.

tbh, I don't see what's wrong with it, it's a fair compromise, as is Common Market 2.0

Because it’s not what many many people voted leave for, and leave politicians hold the same view. These proposals are not much different to remain.

I fully endorse these sentiments.

The reality of dumb unthinking brexit is that power is going to the EU.

Not that they ever wanted it.

Revoke Article 50.

General election.

No more referendums.

No more tories.

I can dream.......

They’re being assertive now because of May’ useless skills at negotiating. It doesn’t mean that the EU needs good terms for its trade with the U.K.

You're probably right as not only are we a very important export partner for many EU companies we also pay nearly 12% of the EU's budget which is going to cause them pain when those payments stop
