Actually - The Daily Mail crucified him on a regular basis - I was very surprised.
Previous PM's have been far worse than BJ on the "sleaze" front but not one of them was wanted out so much by the media.
He didn't suit their rhetoric and the oppo certainly wanted him gone because it was he that stood between them and getting elected.
