If we do get another hung parliament, with Remainers again sabotaging the democratic referendum vote, we are in for very hard times indeed with business confidence completely shot and the public disillusioned with MPs and Parliament in general. I can imagine 'the silent majority' so exasperated that violence will erupt and anarchy stalking our streets. I am a Tory but would rather have Corbyn in charge than another 3 years of chaos. Although I suspect were our bearded friend be in power the country would be on it's knees within 12 months. For all his many faults true democrats must pray Johnson gains a working majority, Brexit is out of the way and we can concentrate on the pressing needs of the NHS, social care and continuing high employment. for those who want the tories out, it's worth checking this tactical voting website which compares the various sites making recommendations on how to vote to this end: [Link] the recommendations are aligned for 94% of seats, but if they are conflicting for your area, then i reckon best bet is to vote for the party you would normally anyway (i personally am voting for a party i dislike quite a lot, in order to get the tories out - that's the unfortunate reality of our voting system)

the recommendations are aligned for 94% of seats, but if they are conflicting for your area, then i reckon best bet is to vote for the party you would normally anyway

(i personally am voting for a party i dislike quite a lot, in order to get the tories out - that's the unfortunate reality of our voting system)

I suspect that if you are voting in the Chichester constituency you might well be disappointed as in all probability the Conservatives will win the seat by a comfortable majority.

Each to his own I suppose but I am not a fan of tactical voting as it tends to be negative e.g. stop Boris / Corbyn.

I prefer to be positive and vote for what I want and believe in even if I don't get it.

The financial-system has once again taken us to the brink, only far bigger than 2008 could ever have imagined.
Austerity, ie the poor paying for the deliberate financial shenanigans of the rich, was/is nothing short of a bloody outrage.
And surprise surprise, they've gone and done it again. The banks are illiquid and the pressure is building everyday.

Will you once again enjoy paying for the deliberate actions of others Willo?
